Communication is essential in organization growth and in boosting sales and marketing
both within and outside the firm. The communication audit process in the organization was
conducted in trying to find the underlying issues. Several components of communication were
analyzed leading to the discovery of issues in internal communication channels, partial
communication network, and ineffective meetings. The memo is a response in realization of the
challenges sets the objective of meeting effective communication and ensuring productive
meetings for effective operations.
The first issue observed relates to lack of choice on a proper communication process
between the digital and the traditional. Despite the proper functioning of both means, proper
choice has to be made depending on the target market and the specific context in question. For
instance, the use of digital communication channel should materialize whenever dealing with
youthful clients as opposed to the use of traditional communication paths (Goleman, 2017).
The second problem involves a limited or partial communication network that fails to
cover a number of individuals thus leading to information distortion or total lack of it to some
parties. I realized that the challenge leaves some individuals out or those receiving it having
trouble encoding the same thus lead to improper implementation of information in context.
According to DiSanza & Legge (2016), the problem affects the general performance and

consensus reaching among employees and as a result leaves little positive feedback whenever
information is passed.
The third issue at hand involves ineffective inter-organizational meetings where the
issues discussed fail to bear fruits. As a result, the organization suffers challenges that we, as the
management endeavor to solve during the meetings. At the same time, it has been realized that
employees give little feedback during the meetings which end up affecting their general
performance at the workplace.
In addressing the challenge to the ineffective meetings, efforts have been placed on
feedback systems where all employees shall be given time to air out their views and reactions to
issues brought forward (Cardon, 2015). It has been noted that workers tend to work better on
policies and solutions arrived at through a consultative forum. Thus, it would solve the issue and
boost productivity at the workplace.
In solving the second case, the organization seeks to explore the use of personalized
email communication coupled by the digital advertisement and notification of issues at hand to
ensure it reaches everyone on time. In this way, the organization shall be confident that all
parties have received the information as once one opens a message, a notification shall be sent to
the communication department (Alberts, Nakayama & Martin, 2015).
The third issue can be resolved through various solutions have been proposed. The
organization seeks to increase education through workshop opportunities in providing a guide
towards proper use of both digital and traditional communication channels. All employees are
expected to attend and internalize the deliberations in their daily communication needs with
clients in providing real-time solutions.
