Environment
The environment where the business is running from has an immense contribution on actually
how the business is carried on. Velamuri, Harvey & Venkataraman (2017) opined an ethical
workplace environment will help to have a positive reputation of the organization and also
improve the morale of the employees. Unethical business environment are influenced by
dishonest employees who can bring harm to the organization. Violation of the ethics can cause
serious loss to the business as they might be affected by lawsuits or problems of theft. Thus each
organization has its own set of rules and principles that they have to follow in order to maintain
the positive environment of the organization. Presently all major organizations lay down their
ethical policies where employees are subjected to follow them. Maintaining a transparent
working environment provides sense of confidence of trust to the employees and help them to be
more efficient (Schaltegger & Burritt, 2018). An organization that does not follow any ethics or
rules are meant to create chaos and the negativity will hamper the working environment and the
morale of the employees. Therefore an ethical business environment build a brigade of ethical,
honest and employees which nurtures team bonding, trust and transparent work culture.
