INTRODUCTION
Culture referred to the norms and values of the society and beliefs which has a group of
people attributed to. Addition to which, it helps by offering social and economic benefit. Cross
culture management helps the organisation in understanding that difference between the people
of different culture. This reflective report includes my learning and observation through my
experience while performing this PowerPoint Presentation.
MAIN BODY
This report is totally based on several learning and research outcomes from that process
that has been conducted by me and is presented through PowerPoint presentation. . As it is very
well known that before making any kind of conclusion from the research or starting to know
briefly about the new topic, we require a lot of knowledge along with a detail point of view about
the topic that one is going to learn as well as to write about it. The topic assigned was totally new
for me to understand. I am a person who is always eager to learn something new and bring out
something positive from the surrounding. It was a great experience in learning this topic. I
analysed and have observed the cross culture management followed by the organisations and
how that organisation is trying to maintain the culture of the country in which they are spreading
their branches across the world. As culture defined the ideas, beliefs, values, customs, norms, art,
language, food and so on. This makes an effective social interactions possible leading to build
better relationship among the people, organisations and even among countries. I found that
cultural management plays a vital role in shaping the way we all work in an organisation or
enjoy the life. During performing the presentation on cross culture management and what are the
cultural differences faced by different country that are spreading their business across the globe.
I learned about the cross culture management that it is an organisational concept that helps to
determine the differences among the business in different nation or country and background most
importantly building the gap between them. The increase in the level of globalisation,
understanding the cross culture management has become critically most important for business
organisation so that they can move ahead with their products and services across the global
without hurting the culture of other countries which will thus help the organisation to flourish its
business. While performing this PowerPoint presentation on cross culture international

management, I also learned about the theory that helps in understanding and determining the
culture across the world and that theory is Hofstede's Culture Model. I got to know that this
model have six key dimensions that include power distance, uncertainty avoidance,
individualism-collectivism, masculinity-femininity, short vs. long-term orientation. I learned that
this theory helps to determine the interactions between the national cultures and organisational
cultures, that understands the regional as well as national groupings that throws an effect on the
behaviour of societies along with the organisations that are long lasting across time; It is
understandable that it is used to determine the etiquette and assist the communication among the
employees across the different culture. This theory is very important specially for the
organisation that want grow its business across the world as it offer important information about
the differences between countries along with the various methods to manage such differences.
The knowledge of this theory and its dimensions are crucial to have as it is an important to get
the best sources of information about the differences in organisational structure and the
management practices in different countries. Understanding about the cultural differences,
basically what I found is, it refers to the different cultures that we all see across the world which
majorly response to the surrounding or environment where people live in. Cultural differences
not only affects the behaviour on the basis of on going system of socially adopted values, beliefs
and rules of conduct from one group to another but it also affects the performance of the
employees. During my preparation of PowerPoint Presentation I gained a lot of knowledge as
well as information about cultural difference between New York with that of France, China and
South Africa. I got to know about the culture of New York followed by France, China and South
Africa and how they are different from one another. I observed that the food, dress style,
language, norms, working culture, values are different from each other affecting the behaviour of
the people. I also got to know about the different cultural barriers faced by different
organisations as well as different countries. Some of the cultural barriers are language, signs and
symbols, Ethnocentrism, behaviours and beliefs and so on. Performing better research helped me
in different ways as now I can see this topic Cross Cultural Management in different ways with
its importance in an organisation leading to enhance my productivity. Along with that my current
skills will also helps me to encourage my strength to overcome my weakness and threats that are
creating barrier in achieving my life's ultimate goals. While presenting this, I opted different such
as improving my listening skills as well as communication skills and to express my PowerPoint

Presentation a better information is required to deliver my point of view more accurately and
efficiently and to make others understand. Being more attentive towards the details and focusing
on different aspects of the topic so that knowledge can be gained that will ultimately help me to
encourage oneself and increase confident along with boosting up the morale resulting to which O
can be more effective and efficient towards my work.
CONCLUSION
The above report went into detail study regarding the cross cultural management and leading to
effective and efficient communication in an organisation and the country. In this reflective report
I have included all the aspects of the different culture that leaves an impact on the behaviour of
an individual.
