In current world the business skills are being more important in all type of international
hotel industry. In the hotel there are many job roles which have their individual role and
responsibilities (Ushakov and et.al., 2020). Ruby Lucy hotel is an international hotel which
provides its guest a premium quality of facilities in all the aspects. Managers of ruby Lucy are
well experienced and know the roles and responsibilities.

Managing the budget: The manager of Ruby Lucy has to manage budget in a manner in which
it has to maintain records of budgets and funds. Expenses should not be more then the revenue
and they also focus on quality of services at most affordable price to their customers. ( Rabiul

Assigning the tasks: The manager has to control and assign each level their task and duties of
the entire department. Manager has to observe and communicate any dysfunction or problems if
any found (Rabiul and Yean, 2021). Manager also play an vital role to give the duties as per the
qualification of the recruited employees in the hotel so that work get well managed.

Handling customer complaints: The manager has to solve the conflict if any and need to clear
the doubts of a customer. Handling and solving the problems of customer or listening to their
problems is the sole responsibility of a manager. Manager in ruby Lucy is trying best to not
repeat the discomfort or any other issue happen with their customer while in the hotel. ( Tan,
Thompson and Sharma, 2018).
Marketing strategies: Manager of Ruby Lucy has to decide properly the marketing strategies
for promoting the hotel. Ruby Lucy hotel manager is providing offers and discount to attract the
customer for the promotions. The manager has to plan new techniques and ways to attract the
customers so that more customers can visit the hotel and overall profitability increase.
Training and recruiting process: Training of new employees or filling vacancies and deciding
their packages are all the responsibilities of the manager. Mangers have to select right candidate
at right place so that the work is properly managed and complete on time. Training of new staff
is the responsibility of the manager.
Controlling all the activities: Manager has to check day to day activities of all the departments
for a smooth flow of working in a management team (Mulser and Naser, 2020).
