smooth business across the countries. Cross-cultural training becomes more vital to conduct
business in the current situation comprising several nations and cultures. the cross-cultural
training can be categorized into general awareness training and specific training concerning a
particular culture or nation (Sit, Mak & Neill, 2017).
The cross-culture training will assist western to assimilate in the Saudi culture. The
training can increase a person’s capability to cope up with Saudi culture. The Saudi culture is
well-defined by the Islamic heritage. The Saudi culture has come with tremendous
development in the past several years. But Saudi works on the approach “modernization
without westernization”. The Saudi has endeavored cautiously to restrict the encroachment of
several values which westerns deliberate fundamental.
There is a clash between western values and Saudi culture. But western can integrate
into Saudi culture through cross-cultural training (Presbitero & Toledano, 2018). It will
contribute to the increasing ability of a person belonging to western and can assimilate into
the Saudi culture. the individual will be able to enhance the capability to comprehend Saudi
culture along with the values and ethos. It will even assist individuals to accept and
appreciate Saudi culture. The cross-cultural training prevents to the misunderstandings. The
training will also be enabled especially on the Saudi culture so that awareness can be created.
It will be quite effective in dealing with Saudi culture.
