Introduction
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the experience of HR management within the
global context by highlighting Horizon Education, Inc. analyzing the scenario of the company,
business environment has been analyzed.
Question 1
Organizational structure plays an effective role in case of dealing with the specific
employee issue and provides standard guidance to the managerial authority so that the
performance standard can be ensured in the workplace (Salas et al. 2017). Analyzing the
situation in Horizon Education, Inc, it has been identified that due to issue regarding setting up
the international subsidiary, implementation of an effective corporate strategy has become
necessary for the company. Analyzing the organizational situation, it has can be said that
effective functional structure needs to be followed by the company. In case of enhancing quality
and expanding its business in an effective manner the functional structure can play an effective
role for managing its distribution process. In order to control internal as well as external
relationship in the workplace, effective implications of functional structure are needed. Based on
the analysis it can be said that functional structure includes the management, responsibility
allocation, supervision and direction. In order to expand its business in Asian market, functional
structure can ensure the greater operational efficiency, which can not only enhance the service
standard of the company, but also it can play an effective role for enhancing the knowledge of
individuals’ for working in a diversified cultural environment.
In case of adopting the functional structure, Horizon Education, Inc can effectively
divided the organizational functions in different sections. Analyzing the services provided by the

company, it has been identified that in different fields such as institutional, business and
technology, the educational services are bring provided. In that case, effective implication of

The cross cultural management plays an effective role in case of managing the positive
organizational performance (Norton 2018). Based on the HR initiatives, special interaction in the
organization is being developed so that the effective organizational performance can be
determined. Due to major changes between the US and Japan labor laws, as well as diversified
working culture has become an important concern for the company. In order to deal with the
situation, understanding the cultural perspectives of individuals are important. Analyzing the
situation in Horizon education, Inc, it has been identified that the company is going to expand its
business in Japanese market. Analyzing the consumption trends of in the Japanese as well as
Asian market, it has be identified that due to cultural differences of these nations from the others
countries, people mostly prefer those organizations, which ensures the cultural bonding with
them.
In order to expand its services in these countries, workplace culture needs to be improved
by understanding the diversified cultural environment (Stillman et al. 2019). Therefore before
developing its services and products in the Asian market, the company needs to understand the
legislative frameworks in the company. In order to ensure the standard cross cultural

Fair compensation policy in the workplace plays an important role in case of ensuring the
employee engagement in the workplace (Ahmady, Mehrpour and Nikooravesh 2016). In order to
retain and recruit talent, the compensation initiatives are very important for increasing employee
morale and the reward policy encourages the high performance standard in the workplace. In
case of developing business in Japanese market, it is very important for the company to introduce
an effective compensation strategy so that employee satisfaction can be ensured in the new
market. There are two types of compensation packages, which are being provided by the
organizations. Direct compensations are being provided through salaries. On the other hand, in
case of indirect compensation, different types of been facilities and long-term incentives are
being provided for encouraging the employees towards achieving the organizational goals.
Analyzing the situation in Horizon education, Inc, it can be said that, indirect

standard in the workplace (Strese et al. 2016). In order to enter in the Japanese market, it is very
important for the company to ensure quality standards. It cannot be denied that in order to
measure the performance standard in the workplace, it is important for the company to focus on
making long term planning. Managing the performance standard of the current staffs, effective
subsidiary strategies can be adopted by the company. In case of measuring the performance of
individuals, effective training evaluation process needs to be adopted by the organization. While
conducting the training and development process, improvement records needs to be maintained.
In order to operate in the international market, effective performance management initiative is
needed in case of ensuring the standard quality of service and long term sustainability in the
market.
As the company mainly provides the educational facilities as well as training programs so
that both the personal and professional development can be ensured, in that case, introducing
effective training and development measures not only can drive the company benefits, but also it
can help to maintain strong commitment towards the organizational sustainability in the
international market. On the other hand, it is true that measuring the performance and
development of the company, financial benefits can be calculated weakly basis. Based on the
frequency of students and collecting the feedbacks from the potential target market, it will be

In this study, it can be concluded that in case of enhancing quality and expanding its
business in an effective manner the functional structure can play an effective role for managing
distribution process of Horizon education, Inc. Analyzing the situation in Horizon education, Inc,
it can be said that, indirect compensation benefits can play an important role for ensuring the
employee engagement in the workplace.
