Topic: International environmental law including climate change
Introduction
Climate change is continuously threatening individual with increased flooding, extreme
heat, economic loss, more diseases, food and water scarcity and other issues. Climate change is
defined as a long term shift in weather and temperature pattern (Rajamani and Peel, 2021). From
past many years there is significant fee in the level of pollution in global warming which is
increasing overall negative impact on climate change. It has been analysed that climate change is
affecting the global climate inclusive of various issues for longer period of time and significant
increase in frequent wildfires etc. In order to reduce the adverse impact on climate change there
are different type of international environment laws being implemented by number of
international authorities in order to significantly reduce the adverse impact on climate change.
Present research include discussion on the impact of international environment law on climate
change. In this study on the United Kingdom climate is being generalized. The research proposal

What is the concept of international environmental law?
What is the importance of international environmental law in protecting climate change?
What are the potential international environmental laws to protect against climate
change?
Rationale
International environmental law is mainly defined as a set of principles as well as agreement
that reflects collective efforts in order to duly manage an issue by resolving most serious
environment problems including climate change etc (Morgera, 2020). From past many years
there is significant increase in the level of adverse impact on climate which is leading towards
drastic impact on climate change. This is increasing the level of drought heat water and food
scarcity and other issues on number of countries around the globe. Present research study is
rational as it is conducted on the impact of international environmental law on the climate
change. This research will help countries around the world to identify the concept of
international environment law along with its importance to protect climate. Furthermore various
environmental laws is being defined in this research which helps organizations countries to
implement these laws to protect environment and reduce the adverse impact on climate. The
present research is also rational as it helps in developing the level of knowledge of researchers
and helps in building various skills such as communication, data collection which further help
researcher to conduct research in future in a well defined and effective manner.
Literature Review
Concept of international environmental law
According to the viewpoint of Revial, 2021 international environmental law mainly defined as
argument as well as principal which duly reflects the overall world collective efforts in order to
maintain the serious impact on climate change and other environmental problems. This is
basically a body of international law which is associated with protecting the environment
(Johnsson, Kjärstad and Rootzén, 2019). There is significant increase in the level of pollution
global warming around the world which is causing number of negative impact on climate. It has
been analysed that international environmental law is derived primary from mainly three sources
which are international treaties, customary international law and judicial decision of international
court.

Importance of international environmental law in protecting climate change
As per the viewpoint of Bushnell, Peterman and Wolfram, 2020 international environmental law
is mainly associated with attempt to regulate the population and the depletion of natural
resources with the help of the framework or sustainable development. Nowadays there is
significant increase in the overall level of pollution and global warming which is causing many
challenges on environment. International environmental law is essential as it acts like any other
national domestic environmental law which helps in controlling pollution at the end of the
process (Kellog and Schware, 2019). It is essential for countries around the globe to implement
international environmental law in effective manner in order to protect environment and further
Should use the negative impact on climate change.
Potential international environmental laws to protect against climate change
According to the viewpoint of Shelton, 2021 international environmental law is deprive
mainly from primary sources of international treaties, customary international law and judicial
decision of international court. It is essential to protect the significant adverse impact on climate
which is leading towards many issues which is affecting the manner of living. There are different
type of international environmental laws to protect against climate change these are inclusive of
concentrating more on reducing greenhouse gases, reducing the emission of Co 2, control air
pollution etc.
Thus, from the above mentioned discussion it has been stated that it is essential to reduce the
adverse impact on environment which is leading towards climate change. This is not only
affecting the manner of living but it is also negatively increasing the challenges that can impact
for longer period of time.
Research methodology
Research methodologies consists of various methods which assist researcher to perform the
research systematically (Bairagi and Munot, 2019). There are different types of method that
researcher can use to including research philosophy, approach, strategies, research design, data
collection method etc.
Research philosophy
This is mainly defined as a believe about the manner in which data is needed to be
collected evaluated and utilised during the time period of conducting research. There are four

main forms and types of research philosophy i.e. Positivism, interpretivism, Pragmatism and
Realism. In order to fulfill present research an objective research rule and take use on Positivism
research philosophy (Nayak and Singh, 2021). The primary and behind taking advantage of this
method is that it is suitable and appropriate associated to the research topic and help investigator
to conduct research in scientific manner to fulfill research goals.
Research Approach
These are mainly defined as a plan of overall research which assist investigator to
accomplish research objectives in effective manner. There are mainly two types of research
approaches which are inductive and deductive (Babii, 2020). In order to conduct present research
investigator will comply with the use of deductive approach research approach. The primary
justification behind taking advantage of this method is that effectively helps in supporting
objective nature of investigation. In addition to this the other aim behind taking advantage of this
method is that it is effective to coordinate with positivism research philosophy and helps in
accumulating facts and information with the help of better testing in canning of numeric facts
and figures.
Research strategy
Research strategy emphasis on overall plan to conduct particular research. In addition to
this it has been analysed that research strategy is mainly defined as an entire framework as well
as different design of research which is mainly depend and based on the selection of research
strategy which is inclusive of number of resource strategy methods. These are inclusive of
survey action research empirical research observation experiments etc. In order to accomplish
present research a man objective investigator will comply with the survey research strategy. The
main justification behind taking advantage of this method is that it will help investigators to have
sufficient sample size and collect information and data from larger number of population with an
aim to draw valid outcomes.
Research Choice
Quantitative and qualitative are mainly two forms of data collection sources which helps
in accomplishing overall research objectives in a well defined and effective manner. In order to
fulfill present in research aims and objectives researcher will undertake use of in depth
investigation with the help of quantitative data collection method. With the of taking advantage
of this method investigator is aiming towards to collect data and information in statistical and

numerical way and further present them in effective manner. In addition to this with the help of
quantitative nature of research methods investigator is aiming to present collected data in more
attractive and systematic manner with the help of charts and tables.
Data collection
There are mainly two types of data collection method which are primary and secondary
with help investigator to accumulate data and information to fulfill a particular research
objectives in a well defined and effective manner. In terms with present research investigator
will undertake advantage of both methods in order to have a relevant set of information to fulfill
objectives of research in effect in effective manner. In context with primary research investigator
will undertake use of authentic and first hand data and will select participants. While on the other
hand in context with secondary source investigator will undertake use of research work and past
findings. Furthermore in order to conduct analysis of primary data investigator will undertake
use of pie chart and frequency table. While on the other hand in context with secondary data
collection method investigator will conduct analysis with the help of literature review.
Sampling
This is an effective method which helps in evaluating the manner in which data is
required to be accumulated. This is mainly a statistical process which is being implemented in
present research to select viable sample size out of the whole population (Pandey and Pandey,
2021). In this investigator will undertake advantage of random sampling method and sample size
of 20 participants will be undertaken. These respondents will be the individuals who are working
voluntarily on different environment protection campaigns. In this investigator will undertake
use of questionnaire to collect primary set of data.
Timeline
It is essential for investigator to accomplish research in proper time frame as it aid in
evaluation of stipulated time in which researcher is required to be completed. Time horizon is
divided into two segments which is longitudinal and cross sectional. In context with present
