has a well-developed and sophisticated transportation system that includes both public and
private modes of transportation (Göçmen and Erol, 2018). According to the Hong Kong
Government's Travel Characteristics Survey, public transportation accounts for over 90% of
regular journeys, the highest percentage in the world. In context of this, Sea-Air Logistics
(HK) Ltd establishes its business empire for developing business opportunities in Hong
Kong. Sea-Air Logistics (SAL) has developed into a supply-chain expert and a provider of air
and ocean freight forwarding and logistic services since 1995. SAL has been audited and
approved for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 28000, and TAPA, and is AEO-accredited. On
June 14, 2019, the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department awarded SAL the first RACSF
(Regulated Air Cargo Screening Facility) award (number RF0002) in Hong Kong. On
December 24, 2019, the European Union granted SAL RA3 validation. (European Union)

Logistics accepts no freight for shipping in the following countries through either means of

Company is working towards sustainability in logistic where there are number of
initiative that is taken by business firm. Sustainability in logistics aim to remove the
footprints of ecological tasks like noise pollution, CO2 emissions, and accidents. This help
the suppliers and provide them with certain advantages of financial growth, health of society

as well as noise pollution (Liang, 2019Bardakçi, 2020). SAL has saved a lot of trees by
installing an advanced software package that clears all account balances at the end of the
month and emails all of our clients immediately. Company launched the E-SA method, which
has saved several reams of paper (printed documents, envelopes into which the statements
must be put, stamps, envelope & stamp glue), as well as a significant reduction in the carbon
footprint of this process. Since there is no need to use the post office to move the statements
by van, airplane, or ship, as well as remove the need for sorting offices that require heat and
electricity to operate, the carbon footprint has been reduced to nearly zero. With the
introduction of an E-DMS, SAL has reduced the need of physical storage of all necessary
shipping records for each shipment substantially The standard way of boxing and storage is
also required by law, but there is no reason to manually extract the file any time a record has
to be checked when an electronic archive can be retrieved instead. This reduces the carbon
footprint significantly since previously, a van and courier would have been expected to drive
to the warehouse holding the actual records, find the file, and deliver it to the office, before
repeating the procedure to return the file to the warehouse.
SAL exceeds regulatory standards by the preparation and implementation of a wide
range of realistic initiatives as part of our contribution to greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
This allows us to help our consumers to fulfil the environmental requirements needed. As a
forwarding and logistics firm, company firmly feel that reducing the environmental effects of
