INTRODUCTION
While doing the business every firm faces some kind of challenges these challenges can
be based on their working or on their internal management. Firms move internationally so that
they can target a larger market segment and that they can have good market share. While
operating internationally the company will face may problems from the difference in the culture
and due to the difference in the culture many organisations have faced lose in their initial days as
they were not able to do proper analysis and take the corrective measure according to that they
were also not able to withstand in the competitions (Yang and et. al., 2019). Pricewaterhouse
copper is a multinational company, this company is operating in more than 157 countries. This is
the reason why they are the second largest service provider company worldwide. This report
discuss about the key effects of the regional culture that may affect the working of the company.

Key effects of regional culture that the company faces while they are operating their business
internationally
The difference in the culture is what every company faces in their initial days, they have
to adapt to these so that they can withstand the competitions and can make themselves a bigger
company. Different people are having different culture, the culture may be different from region
to region as in one country their can be numerous culture. The company have to do various
analysis so that they can first understand the culture of the people in the particular country then
they can, find the difference in the the culture of the country and the culture of their home
operating country. Then they have to find some ways so that they can adapt themselves to this.
And that they can operate in that country (Eck, and Madensen., 2018). Pricewaterhouse cooper
being an international company they also had some problems with the difference in the regional
culture but they overcome all this and now that they are operating in more than 150 country all
over the world and they are the second largest service provider in the entire world. They are also
employing more than 275000 employees all over the world.
When they were operating they were facing various issues like the mindset of the people
living in Brazil and Japan had a mindset of collectivism and the mindset of the Germany and UK
were having individualism in their minds. Like wise when the people or the employees of
UK,Japan and Germany are all competitive in nature whereas the people living in Brazil are less

competitive in nature. With the difference in culture come the difference in their mindset, like
the people don't care about their future and they are living their life to the present they also not
having any thinking or any particular saving for their future. Whereas the people living Japan
Brazil and Germany are having and are carefully panning for their future they also think about
the unexpected outcomes that may come in the near future (Hernandez-Perlines, 2018). Some of
the key issues that the Pricewaterhouse copper may face are as follows :
1. communication – the key challenge that Pricewaterhouse copper will face is the challenge
of the difference in the communication within various country. Different country are
having different types of language of the way of communication. Within the country also
people are having difference in their language. Like in India there are 22 known language
on which the literature is present and according to the survey there is a new language on
every 18 kilometres. Like wise there can be other countries also that are like India which
were having different language. So this is the main problem that tey face when they are
operating their services internationally. Pricewaterhouse copper are having various
offices all over the world and the people working their will be of different culture and
they will be speaking in their own language while doing the task .Due to this they will be
facing a chaotic situation in their working
2. Different mindset – the main difference that the Pricewaterhouse copper is facing is the
different the mindset of different people. The communication barriers can be easily met
up but the difference in the mindset will be a problem because in an company people
from all over the world will come and work and all of them will be having different
mindset and a different way of doing their task. They will also have different approach
for the small goal. This will ultimately result in confusion in the working as one will
work from his perspective and the other will work from his . This will cost the
organisation more than what they will earn .
3. Management - management is the backbone of the company they are the one that are
responsibility for the effective and efficient working in the company (Giessen, Sarker and
Rahman, 2016). Like wise in Pricewaterhouse copper the management is the one
responsible for the success of the company they were easily able to adapt to different
situation. But now also they are facing the problems like the difference in the
management style and the management type. People of japan wants and they thinks of

collectivism whereas the people of UK believes in individualism. For this the
management have to face various problems like they will have to formulate their strategy
in order to make the all work together for the betterment of the company.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that while Pricewaterhouse copper are operating
their business worldwide and while they are providing their services in more than 150 country
they will face some key issue that will affect their working internationally. They have to face the
challenge of difference in their communication for this will result in chaotic situation within the
country. the different in the mindset will also result in total confusion while doing or completing
the task and it will only result in the downfall of the company. It is also concluded that
Pricewaterhouse copper will have to make their management more and more effective efficient
so that their won't be a difference in the way of people doing the tasks.
