Coca Cola is an American Company. Coca Cola was founded in 1992. It also
produces as well as sells the beverages and soft drinks. It has around 2800 products in more
than 200 countries. Coca Cola is the biggest distributor and manufacturer across the World.
In the recent time, most of the people are choosing low calorie beverages and foods in order
to balance the intake of calories in the physical activity (The Coca Cola Company, 2018). In
the recent time, it is true that employees face stress at the workplace due to different kind of
activities. Therefore, in order to reduce the stress level, it is significant to adopt the well ness
programme. Similarly, Coca Cola has also adopted the same, which is being discussed in the
further section of the report.
Stress Management at Coca Cola
In the recent time, it is essential for the organisations to adopt some measures for
reducing the stress of employees at organisation. Similarly, Coca Cola has also started
various well ness programs in order to reduce the stress of employees. Firstly, it has excellent
gym for the employees. It also has tracker that helps the employees in tracking their steps and
sleep. In the year 2015, employees all across the World took part in the Coke global step
challenge in which small teams as well as businesses challenge each other in order to see who
can take the higher steps. In this activity, it helps the employees to decide their own goals.
Besides this, it also brings the self-care in order to bring the wellbeing at the workplace
(Ongel, 2014). It tends to include the several measures such as staff led coordinated stretch
breaks as well as benefits including employee assistance program. In order to reduce the
stress of employees, it provides the coaching services that assist the employees with weight
management, smoking cessation, and stress reduction. In the recent time, it is true that every
person needs better personality. By keeping this mind, Coca Cola also provides the several
programmes for the well being of its employees. At the same, it also helps in maintaining the
personal and professional life of employees (Luthans & Doh, 2012).
In addition to this, it also has several informal ways for staying active and reduce the
stress at campus. Coca Cola has huge common workspace that allows the people to get more
opportunity for leaving their task and at the same time, work outside. The leaders of Coca
Cola also regular coordinate near the campus. It helps in encouraging the employees to give

more emphasis on the well being. It also believes that stress is the natural process that tends
to come from the challenging situation. Coca Cola also provides the parental leave policy in
order to promote the well being among the employees. It also believes that social well being
is about the time that is spent with friends and family. This strategy of Coca Cola motivates
the employees in huge amount and at the same time, reduces the stress of employees (Quick,
Gavin, Cooper & Quick, 2010).
Coca Cola has also conducted the annual survey of its employees. by getting their
views on several aspects, it has taken several initiative to improve its engagement level. It
also formed a strategy that creates the culture of wellbeing. It also tends to enhance the
productivity and engagement. Using such strategies, it ensures the 100 per cent commitment
of its employees to the health and well ness programme. Coca Cola has also established the
umbrella approach for the benefit of its employees. Under this programme, it has included the
several things such as health checks, on site doctor visits and vaccinations. In this way, Coca
Cola believes in getting reviews from the employees regarding what they think about the
positivity at workplace. Using those views, it tends to make the strategy.

In the Limelight of above discussion, it can be stated that Coca Cola is one of the
biggest beverage and Food Company across then World. It has also undertaken the well ness
programme for the employees in order to reduce the stress level. In order to know the stress
level of employees, it has also undertaken the employee survey so that it comes to know
about the problems of employees that they are facing in workplace. In this way, Coca Cola
proved to be effectively manage the stress level of the employees.
