Background to the topic
Online shopping is a form of e-commerce that allows consumers to purchase products or
services from a seller on internet using a mobile app or web browser. There are various reasons
for international students to buy products or service online (Etumnu and Widmar, 2020). These
are; online shopping is more convenient, saves time and efforts etc.
Reference to previous research
According to the Kuhn, Ihmels and Kutzner (2021), online shopping refers to the action or
activity of purchasing services or products over the internet.
As per the opinion of Rogus and et. al., (2020), there are different reasons of using online
shopping for international customers. These are; better price, more variety, no sales pressure,
quick returns, easy price comparison etc.
According to the Seeland, Stoesz and Vogt (2020), there are also some disadvantages of
online shopping such as delay in delivery, frauds, lack of close examination etc.

METHODOLOGY
Surveyed
Survey is a research strategy of collecting information in quantitative manner.
International students are surveyed within their home country (Nakayama and et. al., 2020).
There are total 50 respondents, majority are female under the age group of 18-25.
