Tourism play an important role in shaping the economy of any country. China has also so
many beautiful places and one of them is its second most populated city ‘Sanya’ of Hainan
province. This is a wonderful place that almost attract everyone. However, the increasing
number of visitors in this city creates problem for the Chinese government as the city faces
many tourism issues and degradation of natural resources. However, the Chinese government
is continuously working on various environmental and tourism plans that focuses on
sustainable development. The Chinese government focuses on sustainable development in
tourism and take all the appropriate actions and policies to stop the degradation of
environment. This report helps to understand the various issues and policies of the Chinese
government to protect its tourism industry and provide a beautiful environment for its
tourists.

in the world as it is developing itself in both inbound and outbound tourism (Chen, Huang,
and Bao, 2016). China is most populous country in the world and it also acquire mass land
which means area wise it is the third largest country in the world while population wise it is
the most populated country in the world. However, this report has been prepared in
consideration with Chinese tourism industry and its beautiful city ‘Sanya’. Sanya is one of
the most beautiful cities of China out of its 23 provinces. Sanya is located in Hainan province
and large number of visitors every year visiting China to see the beauty of Sanya. This report
discusses the characteristics and beauty of Sanya. The report also highlighted the attraction
points of the city with some emerging challenges for Sanya in the future. This report helps
the issues that can affect the tourism in this city and about the possible causes and solution to
avoid these issues.

weather, beautiful beaches, and the large number of palm trees that increases its beauty for
the foreigners. Sanya is located in the southern coast of Hainan Island province (Sanya-
Tourism-Development-Commission, 2017). However, the Chinese government focuses on
the developing the city as one of the most beautiful cities in the world by restructuring its
beaches and arrange restaurant, hotels, and other facilities for international tourist to see the
beauty of China. Sanya is known as the “second Hawaii” of the country and it almost attract
the people towards its natural beauty and wonderful beaches. The white sand beaches of this
city almost seduce the tourists. The city also includes beautiful bays such as Sanya bay,
Dadonghai and Yalong bay. It can be said that beauty of Sanya almost attract every people
who loves nature and beautiful beaches and people definitely should visited once in lifetime

development in the tourism industry because it further helps the country in the foreign

large number of hotels and restaurants are opening near the beaches and in the cities for the

further helps in development of that place. ‘Sanya’ is also a beautiful place in China that help
the government in its economic development and provide employment opportunities for the
local community people. The attraction of Sanya, its beautiful beaches, and tropical weather
can ultimately attract any one towards its natural beauty and that is the reason why it is one of
the most beautiful city in China where millions of people visiting every year to watch its
