Abstract
The respective dissertation is focussed on determining the importance of international
vocabulary in modern English for improvement of communication ability in the United
Kingdom. The main objectives of the study are to understand the concept of international
vocabulary in modern English. It also aims to examine the importance of international
vocabulary in improving the communication ability. Also, the researcher has tried to identify the
ways through which international vocabulary can be improved. Last objective of the research is
to determine the issues faced by an individual life due to inappropriate assessment of
international vocabulary. The respective research is a quantitative research and the data for this
research was gathered through questionnaire as well as interview method. Appropriate computer
programs were used to analyse the data that were collected for the same. There were some
limitations that the researcher encountered while undertaking the research, like time as well as
budget constraints. The major findings of the research are that in order to speak fluent English,
individuals should have strong international vocabulary. Also, due to use of inappropriate
international vocabulary, an individual can face various issues. Therefore, it is recommended that
people should read more books in order to improve their overall vocabulary. This way, they will
be able to perform, in an effective manner. Not only this, there will be an improvement in the

researcher has maintained anonymity of the respondents and also, they were provided an option
of not answering questions that they were not comfortable in.
The respective research was conducted with the different people in order to obtain the
information to achieve the results of the research. The sampling process that was used for this

same, I made sure that the available resources were utilized in an effective manner. Therefore,
with this strategy, I was able to maintain the quality of the research as well as accuracy of the

DISCUSSION
From the above, research, it can be stated that international vocabulary is important for
individuals because it helps them in speaking fluent English. International vocabulary is a shape
of vocabulary that improves the general studying comprehension and improves a way one
character communicates with different human beings (Schmitt and et.al., 2017). On the
alternative hand, individuals who are in jobs, are in a position to speak fluently. Vocabulary is a
crucial component for the general improvement of language of someone. Not handiest this, they
are capable of express themselves in writing in an efficient way. English language is evolved in a
manner in which it's miles comprised of various components. It is essential that character have
information about global words and have accurate vocabulary as this can help in moving the thru
to other in accurate way. International vocabulary consists of all the ones works which have
same which means at extraordinary global place (Wang and Treffers-Daller, 2017). It is essential
for someone who has to talk with people at global stage have right or correct global vocabulary
with the cause of speaking and conveying message in accurate manner.

According to the above provided review and analysis of data, it has been found that
International vocabulary includes scientific and specialised words whose origin language may
not be necessarily certain. Many of the international words are very much similar in western
languages. In English language, good vocabulary is very important as it acts as brick for
language. Apart from this, good vocabulary also helps in improving the communication which
can involve listening, reading, writing and speaking and make the learners able to express in
front of others in an effective way. It has also been found that if the learners have good
knowledge regarding words, then their choice regarding words gets more precise and it outcomes
into accurate and fluent in English language (Liu, and Zhang, 2018). It assists a learner in
presenting themselves effectively not only in academic area, but in professional area also. Using
different words while communicating the help in make the learner skilled in communication. In
the current competitive environment, English language becomes very popular and it is the
priority for employers.
Today, employers seek those employees or individuals who are fluent in English. Thus,
good English language help an individual in getting good employment and accomplishing
growth and success in career. It has been found from the review that International vocabulary
enhance overall reading comprehension as well as the way an individual communicate with
others. Vocabulary is very crucial part of English language and its overall development. So, it is
very important for the teachers to emphasize on vocabulary of students so that they are able to
learn English effectively (McArthur, and et.al., 2018). This also supports in enhancing the
communication ability of individual so that they can express themselves effectively in front of
others as well as make other people able to understand them appropriately. In addition to this, it
has been found that there are various ways through which an individual can improve
International vocabulary. It can be evaluated from the analysis that there are several benefits
using International vocabulary to an individual. Using new words is considered as one of the
significant way for enhancing vocabulary. It makes an individual able to understand the right
way of using words and framing good sentences.
Apart from this, reading every day is also an appropriate way of improving vocabulary and
it also help an individual in increasing the knowledge regarding new words. Reading books,
magazines and articles on continuous basis will help in developing International vocabulary in an
effective way (Pennycook, 2017). Moreover, specialised and genuine books provide an

individual with better approaches to think as well as express with the words which might be new
to the individual. In addition to this, it has been analysed that having conversations in English is
one among the way through which English vocabulary can be improved. It develops potential
among individuals to communicate effectively. The another way which have been found to
improve International vocabulary is practice. Practicing English on regular basis by writing,
reading, listening and speaking can help an individual to improve vocabulary and communicate
effectively with others.
From the analysis and interpretation of primary data, it has been found that most of the
people have understanding about the International vocabulary concept in modern English and
they know very well about the significance of English while communicating with others. It has
been evaluated that there are various benefits of developing and improving communication skills
ability. These benefits include that it helps in developing strong relationship, supports in personal
and professional development of individual and spreading knowledge and information. All these
are the advantages and benefits that can be gain by an individual through learning International
vocabulary (Pishkar, Moinzadeh, and Dabaghi, 2017).
As per the analysis and interpretation, it has been found that according to most of the
participants, they are agreed that International vocabulary is important in enhancing the
communication ability. It provides various benefits in improving communication skills of an
individual. It has been found from the study that International vocabulary is very important in
improving communication skills of an individual. It helps in understanding the message properly,
conveying the ideas in right manner, reducing misunderstanding and utilising appropriate words
(McKay, and Bokhorst-Heng, 2017). However, there are some issues that people face because of
inappropriate understanding about international vocabulary. It has been found from the analysis
that many people face the issues due to not having good understanding of international
vocabulary. Due to this, they cannot be able to communicate effectively with others and express
their views and opinions in an effective way.
The different issues which are faced by individuals because of inappropriate assessment of
international vocabulary includes lack of confidence, unable to transfer ideas and thoughts
effectively and ineffective communication. Because of ineffective assessment of vocabulary,
individual face all such issues due to which they are not able to communicate effectively. In
order to overcome the issues, people required to undertake various practices that help in

improving International vocabulary and enhancing communication capabilities (Pishkar,
Moinzadeh, and Dabaghi, 2017). It has been found that having conversation in English, using
new words, practicing daily and reading more are some ways through which international
vocabulary can be improved. Thus, from the overall discussion it can be said that International
vocabulary is very important part of English language and each individual must have proper
understanding of it as this help in improving their communication ability.
CONCLUSION
By conducting above mentioned topic it can be determined for a person it is essential to
understand modern English because that will help them in conducting effective and attractive
communication. Present day or modern English can be depicted as the type of English language
that is spoken since the Great Vowel Shift in England that is started in the late fourteenth
century. This is consider as the contradicted to Middle English and Old English. Jargon plat
significant job in English language and it incorporates different words that help with depicting
the importance. In addition to this, in is essential for an individual to have proper vocabulary as
that will help them in conveying message, ideas as well as thoughts in more accurate and proper
manner. This will also make others to understand it easily and in more effective or proper way so
that interaction can be done properly. Along with this, for an individual it is also essential to
understand about the importance of international vocabulary in modern English for improvement
of communication ability. This is so because that will help them in conducting effective
communication as well as it also help in attaining the career growth opportunities in successful
manner.
I am very happy that I get the opportunity to conduct my research on such a vary topic which
provide me huge information and knowledge that also help me in improving my
communication. I conduct my research on the topic related to determining the importance of
international vocabulary in modern English for improvement of communication ability. In
addition to this while conducting research work in this topic I also able to develop my
understanding related to the international vocabulary in modern English. International
vocabulary is generally include specialized and scientific words which origin may or may
not be necessarily certain. But all the words are in current use in various modern languages.
Along with this I also able to understand the issues faced by an individual life due to
inappropriate assessment of international vocabulary. Moreover I also determined that it is

essential for a person to understand those issues and develop strategies to revolve it proper
as well as effectively so that they attain their desire goal successfully.
Furthermore, by understanding the above mentioned topic there are several
recommendation which related to international vocabulary in modern English for
improvement of communication ability. It is essential for college or academic institutions to
enhance the individual understanding related to the concept of international vocabulary in
the modern English as that will help them in enhancing their communication effectively. In
respect of this, academic institutions may aware people about the different benefits of
developing or enhancing communication skills ability. It is so because that help in
enhancing the individual interest in understanding as well as learning about the international
vocabulary in the modern English. Moreover there are several other ways through which an
individual’s international vocabulary can be improve such as reading, using new words,
practice daily, conduct conversation in English and so on.
