vocabulary in modern English for improvement of communication ability in the United
Kingdom. The main objectives of the study are to understand the concept of international
vocabulary in modern English. It also aims to examine the importance of international
vocabulary in improving the communication ability. Also, the researcher has tried to identify the
ways through which international vocabulary can be improved. Last objective of the research is
to determine the issues faced by an individual life due to inappropriate assessment of
international vocabulary. The respective research is a quantitative research and the data for this
research was gathered through questionnaire as well as interview method. Appropriate computer
programs were used to analyse the data that were collected for the same. There were some
limitations that the researcher encountered while undertaking the research, like time as well as
budget constraints. The major findings of the research are that in order to speak fluent English,
individuals should have strong international vocabulary. Also, due to use of inappropriate
international vocabulary, an individual can face various issues. Therefore, it is recommended that
people should read more books in order to improve their overall vocabulary. This way, they will
be able to perform, in an effective manner. Not only this, there will be an improvement in the
