As per the view of Abdullah, Rosnan and Yusof, (2019) internationalising health care
facilities is really beneficial. In this where medicines are delivered to needing patients and where
doctors practice medicine. Better support is also provided to health care professionals who
provide a range of services. The support is provided by sending doctors, establishing hospitals,
nursing homes and other facilities. It is basically being done in order to enhance health outcome
of patients. It also assists in enhancing the quality of care which is been provided to patients.
These facilities also support in improving wellbeing of patients. Their quality of life is also
improved in this.
In accordance with Tzanova, (2020) internationalisation is changing the way about how
health care is been managed. There has been an increased importance related to cross border
health care facilities. This is because in many countries health care services has no better

In the view of Santangelo and Meyer, (2017), there are several challenges which is faced by
business. It highly impact on their growth. Here, first is due to change in culture it becomes
difficult to operate in other country. Moreover, business has to follow different ethics and values
in delivering health care services. The cultural values may be too rigid due to which change can
not be adopted in properly. Also, it may be difficult to understand patient needs due to language
barrier. The multi cultural and social environment is complex in it.
Vahlne and Johanson, (2017), stated that another challenge faced is financial requirement.
The government or bank may not be capable of providing required funds. So, it may hamper
business operations in health care sector. It requires a lot of documents to be analysed and
identify resource requirement. Due to that business is not able to operate in effective way in
other countries. Along with that, the laws and regulation varies so there is change in overall
procedure of practicing health care. This require in depth planning as well. The new laws are to
be adopted in it.
Issues faced while internationalising health care business
According to Ackers and et.al., (2017) in health care business there are several issues which
is being faced during internationalisation. Here, first is that the quality of service may degrade
due to change in process or procedure. Thus, business have to provide services in different way.
Besides that, the quality of raw materials available may not be as per company standards. Also,
there might be lack of suppliers who provide high quality materials. So, it results in rise in
expenses as material is to be imported. Another issue that is meeting of regulation and
compliance requirement. The business is not able to maintain and meet regulatory requirement of
other country. With change in trends and people needs it is difficult to do so.
