IOT IN SMART CITY

Problem Overview:
 Power issue of the Smart City as it Consumes huge
amount of power.
 Data management issue as the sensors gather huge
data.
 Digital Security issues.
 Interoperability issue.
 Business model and funding issue.

Introduction:
 Growing technology adapted by the cities.
 The cities are benefitting from the implementation
of the Smart City.
 Helps to improve transport system, security system,
waste management system etc.
 Helps to stop criminal activities.

Research Issues:
 The main goal of this project is creating smarter city with
automation.
 Implementation of the smart city is difficult as the
implementation cost is high and security related issue is
there.
 The project of the smart city will be failed if cost effective
method is not found and the security breaches occurs.
 Cost effective sensor need to be produced and high
security need to be implemented.

Problem in flow and connectivity:
 The main problem is regarding the data flow as all
the sensor data is required for the analysis.
 Tampered data flow is a big issue for the system.
 Most of the cases wired communication is used.
Faulty wire is a problem for this system.
 Long range communication is a problem for the
wireless devices.

Problem in Digital Security:
 Databases of the smart cities can be breached if
security is properly not implemented.
 Individual data breaches can be done (Balakrishna,
2014).
 Identity can be used for illegal works.

Proposed Solution
 A better implementation of the security system.
 Proper dataflow using high quality cables (Fortino & Trunfio,
2014).
 Implementation of high range wireless devices.

Experimental analysis
 Since the introduction of the internet of things, the
processing of the project acts as one of the highly
anticipated projects and this is the main reason that
the processing of the platform of internet of things
as been increasing in rapid rate.
 The total growth of nearly 37% in the usage of
internet of things since the last decade (Ali, Gao &
Mileo 2015)

Recommendation and Conclusion
 The data that are stored in data base must be secured by protecting
the data base with the help of the installation of firewall
 Centralizing of data also acts as one of the most important
recommendation in order to use the terminology with highest
efficiency (Rathore, Ahmad & Paul 2016).
 As a conclusion the platform of internet of things in man
management gas been increasing and the technology is very well
accepted.
