modern generation actively use internet and it helps the companies to promote their products and
services. The experts of companies know that teenagers are easy to attract and social media is the
basic tool which helps in attracting them towards the products. Internet is helpful as it made
feedback process easy which is convenient for the customers and organisations as they are taken
through online or by digital mode which make things easy.

Increase unnecessary competition: High competition from the big stores or online
market, forces the small or local businesses to operate or expand their business on online market
also (Tømte and et. al., 2015). Big stores can easily expand or operate their business but it
influences negatively to small businesses as their operational cost is low and online business

disadvantages which become threat for the general public. As teenagers use more internet on

people. There are many general threats which are faced by people are as:
Privacy: It is main element while accessing or browsing on internet as privacy matters a
lot for the people. But nowadays, it is not easy to protect both of them need to understand the use
of internet properly and also consider and understand the legislations while browsing. For the
protection of people by becoming victim, government made various laws and legislations which
helps the users and protect them from any uncertain situations. Privacy is the main factor which
is consider before accessing as privacy and security both are interlinked. In the context of
business, they need to adopt proper safety measures which helps them in protecting themselves
from leaking their personal information. As this information might be useful for their
competitors as they can use their plans and strategies which can become threat for them.
Furthermore, in the society terms their personal details and banking information like their
transactions, cvv number, card number and many more might get misuse and can break their
privacy. To avoid these threats, both of them need to take proper actions by which they get
protected from any uncertain situation. Organisations should use strict privacy for their data and
information which helps in preventing and protecting their data. In the context of society, they
need to safety measures such as do not save their card details, mobile and personal details and
many more.
Weak security: Currently, new technologies become threat for the people as they does
not bring security factor with themselves. Changes or updating technology requires, up to date
gadgets which support the changes properly with proper security. Companies launch frequently

business need to take strict actions and need to purchase tested products and gadgets which helps
in eliminating the risk factor from getting the gadget and its functions corrupt. Society need to

hackers as they can hack the whole system and can damage the whole system. To protect from
this, they need to avoid the use of inconvenient websites or stop browsing unwanted sites as
