In the article, Baldry, Farrington and Sorrentino (2016) attempted a discussion on the
probable and the plausible relationship that might exist within the activities of bullying in the
face-to-face manner as well as the cyber bullying activities that are reported by a number of
students. The article in discussion is based on the survey responses that were received from 5058
Italian students who had been studying in middle and high schools (Baldry, Farrington &
Sorrentino 2016). The findings of the article basically reveal the fact that the students have
reported the unethical practice of bullying both physically and over the social media, stating the
interconnection between cyberbullying and physical bullying that are generally used against a
certain section of the students or people. The author opines that the unmonitored use of internet
services by children who are generally unaware of the extreme consequences resulting due to
cyberbullying of the other individuals have led to the increase in the activities of cyberbullying
(Baldry, Farrington & Sorrentino 2016). Thus, a greater amount of elderly attention and
counselling should be provided to both the victims as well as the mis-doers in order to reduce the
chances of cyberbullying. The article helps the future researches to learn more about the
cyberbullying faced by students and ways to arrest the conditions.
