 INTRODUCTION
Internship is defined as a professional learning experience which helps individuals gain
meaningful practical work related knowledge that is beneficial for their career interests and
achieving career ambitions. It is important for students to complete internship in there interested
career in order to gain professional work experience and understand the ways in which actual
activities take place in their interested career field so that they are able to use this knowledge and
work experience for their career progression. This report provides a reflective account of the
internship done at power play studios at the position of paid intern with different responsibilities.
Power play studios is a game studio focused on creating sports games with millions of players
around the world. The company provides individuals internships which can be used do progress
career in the gaming industry. The internship available at power play studios helps individuals
understand actual work done in gaming companies which improves the knowledge about how to
create a successful career in the gaming sector.
 MAIN BODY
The internship at power play studios involved completing variety of responsibilities which
helped me understand the etiquette and accepted behavior of working in a professional setting. I
learned about how employees collaborate with each other and the importance of understanding
roles and responsibilities clearly so that daily objectives can be attained and support can be given
to seniors and subordinates in attaining overall organizational goals. Professional experience
helps individuals develop knowledge and own perspective on the ways in which individuals
work together in a professional setting to accomplish goal of the company.
The primary responsibility of my internship at power previous studios involved handling social
media account of the company. The mean social media account of powerful studios is at
Instagram with a healthy following to create a successful digital brand of the company.
Handling social media activities is a crucial responsibility in the current corporate word because
social media is a key tool for interacting with consumers and completing marketing activities.
Social media management an handling is a challenging task because it involves updating the
posts an feeds of a company on different social media sites in a way that it facilitates attainment
of marketing objectives and also acts as a method of communicating with external parties

including consumers media and community members. I was tasked with handling social media
accounts of power play studios because I had prior knowledge about social media management
and I was also more knowledgeable about current social media trends and ways in which the
social media accounts of the company can look more authentic and organic.
I was very excited about taking up the responsibility of handling social media accounts of power
play studios because it was a crucial responsibility given to me end required my complete
attention so that the brand image of the company is improved. I learned about the key actions
which I need to complete on a daily basis in order to handle social media accounts of powers
play studios by the social media management team at the company. I was paired with a senior
member of the social media management team and learned the basics of handling social media
accounts which provided me new insight about how professional brands utilize social media for
interacting with brands, maintaining brand recognition and equity.
I have gained immense knowledge at the internship add power play studios because now my
knowledge about creating a professional brand on social media accounts has improved along
with information related to key social media metrics which need to be considered when curating
the social media accounts of businesses. I also had the responsibility of handling bookings with
artist manager which increase my knowledge of studios interviews in which artist introduce
collaborate to create products for the consumers. Coordinating with the artist manager of power
play studios to handle bookings was an important part of my daily job and introduce me to the
hierarchies and relationships between artists and studios and how this hierarchies and relations
between artists and studios manifest during production of an artistic product.
In context of my internship at power play studios I learned a lot by working under the artist
manager at the company including specific industry knowledge and accepted behavior while
working with external artists. In addition to this I also learned about the ways in which bookings
are documented so that a clear record of artists is maintained in the company. Documenting daily
bookings with external parties is important for businesses because it helps the company maintain
a clear record of data and supports information processing as employees are able to easily access
specific information related to bookings easily. I was able to develop information and

communication technology skills and interpersonal skills with the help of this responsibility at
my internship at power play studios. I learned interpersonal skills by observing the ways in
which managers at Power play studios handle external artists and maintain a professional
relationship with them so that they are able to work in the future. I was able to improve my
information and communication technology skills as I was tasked with maintaining records of
external booking with artists which required the usage of information communication technology
such as Microsoft Office excel and PowerPoint.
I was responsible for handling invoices with labels and organizing maintenance work in the
studio. I completed my responsibility related to handling invoices and supervising maintenance
work effectively due to my financial knowledge. This part of my internship experience along
with the responsibility of calculating expenditures making sure rents get paid and calculating
profit every month helped me understand my financial knowledge and strength in completing
financial activities of the company. I was able to apply my knowledge of documenting and
analyzing financial information to complete various responsibilities such as calculating
profitability and handling invoices perfectly which helped me excel at my job at power play
studios. I will further work to improve my strength of financial knowledge to the point of
proficiency so that I am able to quickly complete various financial calculations and organize
financial data of the company. The experience gained at power play studios regarding
maintaining financial records and supervising maintenance of the studio has also improved my
leadership skills as now I am able to ensure that different tasks related to financial activities and
maintenance are completed in a timely manner. However there is need to further improve
leadership skills because true leadership in an enterprise requires inspiring the entire workforce
and unifying them to attain objectives.
I also learned about the ways of delegating and supervising daily tasks in order to ensure that the
responsibility of time keeping at power play studios is completed. Time keeping in context of
power play studios involves completing the responsibility of opening and closing the studios.
This is a crucial responsibility which I completed during my internship at the company because it
is related to the safety of the firm. I managed my daily schedule in order to accommodate this
responsibility. This increased my stress at work because I was waking up earlier than usual to

open the studios. From this part of experience at power play studios I have understood that I need
to improve my stress management skills along with daily schedule so that I am able to be always
on time at work and complete my personal commitments so that my professional commitments
do not suffer. I will also work on improving my stress management skills so that I am not
burdened by my responsibility and instead am able to handle crucial responsibilities smoothly
without any space for mistakes. I have learned various skills from my work at power play studios
as an intern which will support me in my future career development and will also provide me
knowledge to reflect on my current professional competences and skills. Working as an intern at
power play studios has given me enough professional knowledge so that I am able to further my
professional career end work on my professional abilities to attain goals.

 CONCLUSION
From the above report it is determined that completing internship in a company which is linked
with interested career field is important as it provides employees required professional
experience for gaining further career advancement. The professional experience gained at an
internship helps individuals understand the expectations of businesses in the specific good here
so that they are able to work on their weaknesses and strengths in the future to gain better
professional opportunities. In addition to this opportunity of getting mentored and guidance
from seniors regarding various responsibilities is also available at internship and work
placements which is beneficial for career advancement of individuals. Individuals are able to
develop their skills and reflect on their professional competences by working at an internship
which helps them create plan for future career success and prepares them to compete in the
labour market to get the best career opportunities.
