3 Pieces of Knowledge
The in-depth explanation of the Ethical Literacy which have clearly put forward the idea
about how to identify the workers who possess poor literacy in ethics. The explanation provides a
clear understanding of how others will react while dealing with this particular case. The topic also
put light on how these workers takes decision on their own perspective and believes which differ
from organizational policies and procedures. This provide an idea about their poor ethical literacy
(McAuliffe, 2014).
According to Engel & Prentice (2013) the success of the inter-professional teamwork and
what is the best way to develop it over years is discussed properly. Currently, I am working in a
multidisciplinary team where there is difference in opinion and I can clearly notice the difference in
our relationship but never gave a thought about how it has been developed over the years.
Even, I got to learn about the inter-professional education where we got to know each other
discipline and thought process so that we can collaborate with each other to produce quality
outcome. This can only be possible if there is no difference in power and status between different
professional so that we can look each other profession in a positive way and discussing and
agreeing to step into a common ground (Engel & Prentice, 2013).
2 Points of Significances
From Walsh et al. (2016), I got to know about the multidisciplinary team that prevails in an
organization who are targeting the common goal. There may prevails different professional with
different code of ethics along with that different morale values. So, while working in a
multidisciplinary team you need to keep in mind that there are different professional with different
ethical consideration, but all we need is to focus about the well-being of the customer/patient. This
is mainly seen in the healthcare sector where there are different professionals who are working
together for the betterment of the patient.

2INTERDISCIPLINARY PROFESSIONAL ETHICS
The professional ethics is not same in every profession. The nature of the profession is kept
in mind while developing the code of ethics for a certain profession. The main thing which is kept
in mind while developing the code is that how much control they have over the particular type of
work. The ethics is set accordingly as per the authority of the person’s profession and authority.
The main example which can be look forward is the nursing where there is a collaboration of
different professional work on a common goals and the ethics which is set by the organization so
that peace can be maintained in the organization (Tarzian, Wocial & ASBH Clinical Ethics
Consultation Affairs Committee, 2015).
1 Question
The question which I would like to explore further and want to focus is that how dilemmas
and concern can be addressed to confront social professionals - practices and ethical issues that we
all need to work through and respond to in changing patterns of health and welfare that is the
impact of Immigration’s policy in regards asylum seekers.
