Views on Positive changes and
organizational innovation
 Logistics company DHL has been able to achieve great success due to
innovation
 DHL focused on the use of “city logistics” to improve their performance
(Cichosz et al., 2017)
 City logistics is the optimization of logistics considering city traffic effectively
 DHL organized a contest asking people from academic, political, public
administration and businesses to provide solutions for logistics in congested
urban areas

Impact on the organization
 DHL was able to garner a lot of responses with a wide number of
effective plans to optimize logistics in problematic areas
 One of the most important innovations was brought forward by a
startup company named Effidence
 A self driving robot was tested successfully
 DHL has since used the idea to grealty improve their
performances

Views on failure of Organizations
due to lack of change
 One of the biggest cases of failing to innovate is according to me
Nokia
 Nokia failed to live up to its reputation at recent times
 Nokia was unable to bring forward any innovative mobile phone
that could tackle competition from the rival companies
 Nokia failed to implement any significant innovation to boost
their production process (Laamanen, Lamberg & Vaara, 2016)
 Nokia was unable to match the technology of Apple

Impact on the organization
 Nokia had to sell its mobile manufacturing unit to Microsoft
 Nokia now greatly focuses on their telecommunications
equipment
 The quality of Nokia slowly declined
 In a mere six years the brand value of the company declined by
91 per cent

Why I have Chosen Grayce?
 I strongly believe that Grayce can become one of the most
successful businesses in the coming years
 Grayce is an organization on which the client organizations can
rely
 I want to work for a company that can power the growth of other
businesses while growing itself at the same time
 I think the skills that I have acquired are ideal to implement in a
company like Grayce
 I think providing and nurturing talent is a very honorable work
and the organization is performing brilliantly towards the same

What can I bring to the
organization?
 I can bring all my years of hard work and expertise into the
organization
 Project analysis, change management support and transition
support are areas where my acquired skills can be put to great
use
 I have all the necessary project analysis skills that Grayce would
require to improve themselves
 I am currently learning Prince2 and AgilePM, which I can
implement greatly towards enhancing my work functions in the
organizaton
