The interview being conducted in this video is an interview session about the hiring of
the post of the maintenance manager of the post of the hospitality management for the
students of a college or an institution I had decided to join the interview for the post of the
maintenance manager as I am also from a hospitality background. I will also share the
outcomes of the interview in the following paragraphs and explain whether I was accepted for
the position of the maintenance manager or not by the perso0n interviewing me for the job.
I would like to begin by describing the interview process and what I had experienced
during the interview itself. The interview which was being conducted for the post of the
maintenance manager was a face to face interview. This means that I was called into the
room which also contained a number of other participants and asked the questions one by
one. When I was called for the interview process, I was a bit tensed at the beginning, as I was
wondering about the type of questions which I would be asked by the interviewer on the
subject matter. However, needless to say that the interview went as planned and prepared by
me, and I got the job of the maintenance post which I was looking for in the job itself.
However, I would like to discuss the strengths and the weaknesses of the interview
process which I had undergone at the time of the interview itself. The major strengths of the
interview process which I found in this case was the fact that it was a single face to face
interview method. In addition to this, the other advantage which I had in this stage was the
fact that the interviewer was a liberal person who was there to help the interviewees with the
answers if they found themselves unable to answer such questions. However, this also
involved the disadvantages of the interview process. The disadvantage of the interview
process was the fact that the interview being a single face to face interview, was time
consuming. I felt it would have been better if it would have been a group discussion among
the interviewees.

I would also describe the obstacles and the challenges which I had faced along the
interview process. There were a number of obstacles which I had faced at the time of the
interview itself. These included the problem of the language. I faced the difficulty in this case
because English is not my first language, as the interview was conducted in the language of
English, I had difficulty in answering the questions myself. The other obstacles and the
challenges which I had faced at the time of the interview was with some of the questions
themselves. This is because the interviewer was asking the questions which was related to the
industry. However, as I was just joining the industry myself, I was not aware of a lot of topics
which the interviewer was asking at the time of the interview.
Thus, I can say that irrespective of having language problems and facing difficulties at
the time of the interview itself, I will say that I have managed to successfully pass the
interview myself and gain the job of the maintenance manager which the job was offering.
Therefore, I would like to say that it is with the right mind-set that people will be able to
achieve any kind of success irrespective of difficulties. This is what I have learned from the
interview myself.
