Environmental business analysis is a systematic way of identifying the business factors
those impacts in the development of strategy and gaining advantages through those strategies. In
order to survive in a competitive market it is necessary to study the business environment and
analyze the process to implement a strategy in the business world. The paper will focus on the
intrapreneurial opportunity in the organization of Langley child development center and impact
on the effort and resources used in the organization. Additionally, the following paragraphs of
the paper will discuss on the potential benefits gained by the organization.
Discussion
NASA has sponsored Langley child development center for the benefit of employees,
which operates as a non-profit organization. This organization serves the childcare services for
the families of NASA with affordable and high quality care and services in child development
(Bernroider & Schmöllerl, 2013). The paper will focus on the intrapreneurial opportunity of
Langley child development center. Intrapreneurs are the employees of a company who works on
the special projects and innovative ideas of the company that contributes to the future betterment
of the company (Turan, Kaya & Aydin, 2014). In Langley child care development center it has
the intrapreneurial opportunity as the organisation can come up with the innovation of
developing the child care services and this will help in accomplishing the strategies of the

Strength:
a) Political support- The organization will be favorable as they can gain government
support and depends on government programs to serve the children Farrukh et al,
2017).
b) Widen sponsorships- As the organization operates under a non-profit making
motive, thus it has a wider scope in getting the donations.
c) Public awareness- As the organization provides service to the children without
having the motive of earning profit it reflects in the business environment and
attract the public.
d) Communities’ involvement- The organization serves the society as a whole which
comprises of having commitment towards the society and it involves
communities.
e) Increase in donation- The organization supports the public awareness programs,
which leads to have increase in the donation for the organization.
Weakness:
a) Fixed costing in website URL- For the maintenance of social site of the
organization regular expenses are involved in these.
b) Start-up expenses- A huge start-up amount needs to be invested during the
commencement of the business.
c) Website designing cost- Regular maintaining of some variable cost is inputed
in website designing of the organization.

b) Comprising of a mission statement- The organization must establish a
mission for the future instances, which creates an opportunity for the
business environment to accomplish the goal.
c) Involvement of more clients- Unique ideas implemented by the employees
helps to attract more clients and establishing a different business strategy
to have environmental support.
d) Advertisements in social media- More opportunities an organization can
able to grab by having advertisements in the social media websites and
other means of advertising.
Threats:
a) Non-profit makings- As the organization does not emphasizes on
earning the profit rather it focuses on serving the child care this brings
out a challenge of survival in the business world (Davis & White,
2015).
b) Social media challenges- Frequent changes in the technologies results
in lack of providing information and lack of maintain updates in day-
to-day activities.

The efforts made by the organization and the resources used by the organization through
different ways brings out an impact in the intrapreneurial opportunities as the organization

The resources used in public awareness like welfare of the society, quality services and
commitment to the society helps in achieving the intrapreneurial opportunities (Urbano, Alvarez
& Turró, 2013). Focusing on particular and primary mission of an organization leads to have a
place in the market and work accordingly with a better service provides an effective outcome in

Recommendation
The organization can be benefitted in many ways by the outsiders as well as by its

the organization. It leads to have more essentialities and helps in meeting up the requirements.
The organization can be benefitted more by adapting some changes in their business strategies
and come up with innovations and follow up the match with upcoming technologies in order to
