INTRODUCTION
Analysing the behaviour of the humans is main concern of entrepreneurship.
Intrapreneur-ship refers to the staff of the organization who has the power to take decision in the
organization. This report includes the theory develop by Beblin and tools to assist the business
idea. The report also describes the process of identifying and selecting business idea Therefore,
what I experience and developed skills in the research part. It will discuss process of identifying
as well as selecting business idea as one of the main step is development of team then enlisting
ideas, identifying skills and testing each business idea.
MAIN BODY
Effectiveness of team development by Belbin team role theory while identifying and selecting
business idea
Identification and selection of business idea is important for businesses as it helps them
out in improving their performance. With new business idea, companies can take competitive
advantages and can increase customers’ satisfaction. But there are some steps that need to be
followed by all employees and managers for selecting an effective idea and making it successful.
As a team worker, I want to discuss one of the most important step of selecting business idea and
it is known as: team working or team development.
Key learning while working in a team: I believe that team working plays a vital role when
employees or students are being asked to select an effective business idea. Team working
increases knowledge of all team workers (Rahmani and et.al., 2021). As a team worker, I can say
that team development makes us able in solving problems that we face and it improves our
relations with others. When we were asked to identify as well as select business idea then we
made use of Belbin team role theory. This model explains all 9 roles that team members should
follow in order to accomplish goals of team project. As per the Belbin team role, I was asked to
perform a role of resource investigator. They allot me this role because of my experience and an
ability to explore opportunities. I believe that I performed this role as I focused on improving
relations or developing contacts with team members that is the main strength of resource
developer. I also focused on working with external stakeholders and enlisted some business
ideas. This role helped me in boosting confidence. By working in a team, I found that I am

became difficult for all of us to take better decision by selecting one of the best idea (Lynch,
Lynch and Clemens, 2018). One of my team members helped me out in solving this problem and
he took decision.
Ways of using utilised knowledge: Development of team is one of the main key of success. We
developed team by making use of Tuckman team role theory and its 4 stages helped out in
active participation. I understood each stage and tried to engage team members. In first stage,
team members agreed on participating after identifying opportunities. In second stage, team
members started arguing because of different perceptions. This stage created number of
problems but my ability of motivating and communication helped us out in solving all problems
and passing on to next stage of norming. Team members helped out in solving disagreement and
by discussing all advantages, we made all members normal (Muukkonen and et.al., 2017). My
ability of empathy and encouraging others made me able in establishing group norms with
consent of all members. It improved our relations and finally, we developed an effective team.
Overall, I can say that some skills that I had, helped me out to the great extent. I learned number
of new things by working in a team and we identified numbers of business ideas.
Areas need to be improved: There are some areas on which we all need to focus on in order to
complete business plan successful. Some areas that I have identified include: time management,
flexibility and leadership. I found that team members took a lot of time in completing this project
and the reason behind it was: procrastination. It is the main barrier and I believe that we all
should focus on prioritising our tasks and need to complete on the same day. Identification of
business idea was not an easy task but my ability of taking decision helped me out in solving this
problem. By working in team, I found that I need to improve leadership skills (Lacerenza and
et.al., 2018). Overall, I can say this team working increased my skills and knowledge to the great
extent.
In addition, we made use of Adair theory that consists of three needs of team, task and
individual. It is believed that all these three concepts can make team members an effective
leader. This model is best known for team development. With this model, team members focus
on accomplishing tasks, development of an effective team by performing individual roles as well
as developing individuals. This model helped us out in improving performance of team and
accomplishing goals of identification of the best business idea.

that I learn from the research, how should we communicate, problem-solving and teamwork. It
enhances the person professionalism facets from their life (Nedelkoska, and Quintini, 2018).
Advance skills: - nowadays, technology rapidly increases, so as we are dependent upon the
technology. According to the research many corporate sectors adopting the information
communication technologies in their firm. Advanced skills basically refer to the development of
self and up to date via training or with technology.
Emotional intelligence skills: - emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage
the behaviour of the other person in the professional field and manage emotions and motivate
myself to wards achieve the goals what I aim to. From research these skills will be more
beneficial for me in interaction with each other and creative a positive environment in a work
place.
Similarities and differences between group / team work at university and the workplace
Team work or group work indicates the collaboration with people to achieve the
objective or goals that they aim to achieve. Team or group work is important part whether it is
university or workplace it indicates the coordination of the people that work together to achieve
their goals and objective. Group work in the university also help those students who are sensitive
and introvert in terms of express their views. What I experience in doing this research is the more
I take part in the research of team and make a contribution the more confident I feel. That will be
helpful in my future career in workplace. In workplace team work will help to solve the issue and
problems that facing in the workplace. Brainstorming is the good opportunities for the team to
exchange their idea to new innovation. The simple difference between university and workplace
