Introduction
Personal development plans serve as one of the most effective tools for the
professionals and the students towards the achievement in ther respective field of study
(Carnall 2018). The personal development plan uses the concept of reflection towards the
enabling one for keeping track of the actions and the step towards the achievement of the
skills and the knowledges (Cottrell 2015). Personal development plan provides a thorough
gauge for the understanding of the progress, determination of their skills for their
achievement in the future and the professional developmet goals (Lussier and Hendon 2017).
The concept of the personal development in this assignment highlights the critical analysis of
the undersanding of the contemporary and the self management that will enable me to
incorporate in the decisions of my future development and career choices.
The management challenges
Some of the major notable challenges that is basically faced by me in the category of
the business management are my lack towards effective communication and acquisition of
the social skills. Social development is another of the essential category of the challenges I
face. I face issues and lack my soft skills in the relation to other people. This is because I
realized that these factors and skills that I face as challenges are essential ingredient towards
the significance of any of the workplace that I aim to join after the completion of my course.
In effective communication and my introvert attitude is one of the major drawback in the
current decade. Another facors of challenge that I face is the issue of the time management. I
face some of the major issues towards my achievement of some of my overall goals for the
upcoming seminsters of my course module. To summarize, some of the major challenges that
I face are the lack of effective communication skills and the adapatation of the soicla skills
together with poor time management skills.

Strength and Weakness
Establishment of the learning habits together with the highlighting of my skills as
strengths is important. Furthermore it is essential to highlight my weakness in the personal
development plan to understand the gap in knowledge and skills in me. Some of the strengths
of me include factors such as patience towards handling any kind of critical scenarios.
Furthermore I have a patient attire together with effective and efficient decision making skills
which serve as some of the major strength in the establishment of my goals and targets.
Besdes this, I am hardworking and this is one of my strength despite of the demand of the
smartwork in this competitive environment.
Highlighting my weakness is very much important since it gives the well lit pathway
so that I can improve my weakness as per the personal development goals. Some of my major
weakness includes my lack of effective communication and social skills, lack of descriptive
and mathematical modeling skills and my unrealistic expressions towards the life.
Furthermore some of the more challenges and weakness that I have includes my lazy,
impatient attitude. I tend to take small things very personally and do not tend to take criticism
in a very well manner. My weakness on the factors encircling selfishness, impulsive,
stubborn and close minded attitude are some of the alarming factors trigerring the weakness
that I need to work on as per my personal development goals.
Evidence
During the time of the semester I realized some my weakness and my challenges
regarding effective communication skills and social skills which placed me in a wrong and
odd position. I changed towards the relation to people since I was very poor in
communication and interaction. Often the lack of social skills left me in the state of isolation.
My impulsive, selfish and close minded attitudes further made me isolated from all of the

friends I have and during the semesters I felt very much left out and lonely. Besides this, my
management skills towads study for the semester started to drop and I started becoming more
impulsive and I started taking each and every things very personally. But with the help of
some of the strengths including my hardworking skills and patience also my problem
handomh skills I survived in my semester. But I realized that I need to work on my
challenges and my strengths for effective achievement of my goals and targets.
Theory
Among the two study units to draw from for analyzing the theories in relation to the
personality development, one of the major factor is the personality type. This factor can be
assessed or analysed with the maens of the Five factor personality model. Scientifically
adopted by the researchers, this model illustrates five of the major dimensions of the
personality defining the human traits at the most highest level of the organization(Borich
2016). I can asses myself with the five factors of the model.
1. Oppenness – I share a very intellect character consisting of creative,insightful and
curious chrecteristics
2. Conscientiousness - In this category I am somewhat dutifull but someties gets
impulsive
3. Extraversion - I do not have any of the cahrecterestics to be socialble and initiate
effective communication skills
4. Agreeableness – I am compassionate and trustworthy towards others
5. Neuroticism - I have high tendency to experience some of the unpleasant emotion
like anger, anxiety and vulnerability.
Another factor for analysis is the cross cultural management which can be done by

high level of PDI and hence I acknowledge the status of the leaders.I furthermore have high
Individualism Versus Collectivism simce I respect privacu and place high value for the time
of the people together with their need for freedom and peivacy. I furthermore have high
indulgence with the charecteristics of optimism, importance and essentiality of freedom and
focus on the personal happiness.
Analysis and evaluation
Savory ( 2010) in his article illustrated the emphasizing of the policies by the
government towards the need or the requirememt for active and the effective partnerships and
relation among the education providers and the employers. The author of the study
highlighted the fact athat the personal development plan generally tends to support the
development of the skills of the employment for the students. The paper concluded that fact
that personal development playa a very important and essential role for the potential benefits
in case of the workforce and the professional development. Furthermore Sargeant et al.(2015)
in his researchstudy evaluated the theories and the literature model in connecton to the factosr
of cultural management, personality, ethnicityand the management skills that forms the basis
of the strategy for progress in their caree development (Dong et al. 2017). The stusy
furthermore mentioned the use of action research approach exploring the questions related to
the management of the career development.
Conclusion
Personal development plan provides a thorough gauge for the understanding of the
progress, determination of their skills for their achievement in the future and the professional
