INTRODUCTION
In this presentation the details regarding the set of soft skills and personal attributes
learned in the course work of online learning are outlined which is requirement of the 21st
Century.
This defines the capabilities developed during the coursework. Goals are defined which
are set as key skills that I want to have by the end of this unit and also by the end of course.
My areas of Expertise
Persistence:
This is my best skills as an online learning student. I am always willing to respond to the
technical problems and seek help as when needed. I work on every class every day and persist
through challenges.
Effective and appropriate communication Skills
As an online learner I posses a good communication skill as needed to communicate to the tutors
specially in case when I need help with regard to my coursework and unit. With this I have a
good command over the language when writing to the tutors by writing e-mails or
communicating through chatroom as I write in full, grammatically correct sentence and
respectful notes.
Basic technical skills:
I have basis technology knowledge and skills in as crating a new document, use the word
processing program, negativing the internet and downloading software. Along with this I make
sure to check the website of the coursework for any updates and new technical skill requirement
fr the online learners.
My current knowledge of the online environment:
1. Online discussions: by asking open ended question
The coursework is related with online learning and this can prove to be difficult in understanding
what is being taught and sometimes I face challenges related with time managements and
sometimes with the languages as well. For the problem related with understanding of class notes
I commence a communication and ask open ended question in the online classes. The teacher and
other students in the online discussion helps me through solving my problems and clearing all
the doubts.
