their health and well- being can be ensured. Such as WHO website provide necessary
information related to measures that need to be undertaken by travel and tourism companies
while operating several functions.
British government has also restricted movement of people and goods and services in
context of covid-19 so that chance of spread of infection can be minimised to some extend.
Temporary restriction of movement of people have caused interrupt in aid and technical support
required by country in order to operate smoothly. At the same time government has made
regulation that airlines needs to conduct temperature screening at both exit and entry to stop
international spread to some extend (Seyfi, Hall and Shabani, 2020). So, overall it has forced

Various organization are also working with government like NGO, International organization so

are strongly connected with each other so government has organized campaign to promote UK
travel and tourisms (Maci, Sala and Godnič Vičič, 2018). World health organization has also

Post COVID situation has been very challenging for the government in United Kingdom.
Especially the travel and tourism sector affected negatively due to the covid situation. There has
been a significant downfall in the hospitality business noticed as a result of the covid 19 crisis as
the travellers and customers are not liking to go out and travel and also they could cancel all the
travel plans in the upcoming months or year. IN order to protect the demolishing hospitality
industry government tried to provide an ease in the licence policy so that hospitality businesses
can gain a significant success in market. Easy licensing will motivate to new stakeholders and
companies that are looking to enter the hospitality business (Hall, Scott and Gössling, 2020).
Many times due to uneasy licensing policies stakeholders and investors not like to enter the
market apart from the immense growth possibilities of the sector. Some lenience has been given
in providing hospitality licence. This approach of the government has provided an effective step

taken towards incorporating the growth possibilities of the sector. Funding is another serious
issue the entire hospitality sector is facing at this point of time. AS due to the market downfall
and complete lock down across the United Kingdom the sector could demolish in many ways.
Investors are not liking to invest in new projects as the market is still very challenging for the
travel and tourism sector across the globe. Even if the vaccination has been started people are
not liking to go out and travel across the world. The hesitation of the peoples and travellers has
been affecting the entire synergy of travel and tourism sector. Investors are hesitating to invest in
new project that could play a role of funding blockage in the sector. Bank and financial
institutions are also not preferring to provide an easy loans in hospitality sector especially due to
the covid situation.
Education is another concern especially after the COVID situation at a global level. As
the government in United Kingdom has given its best efforts to raise an awareness towards the
COVID 19 pandemic about the approaches to protect from this deadly virus. Government raised
the awareness through marketing channels like digital promotions, social media marketing,
holding and many such techniques that can potentially provide a successful marketing campaign
to the government. As this pandemic has seen as once in sanctuary kind of challenge for the
entire world so people across the globe took special interest in taking knowledge and guidance
towards dealing with this issue and how to protect against the disease. Education and the efforts
of the government could somehow manage the downfall of the hospital sector (Gretze and et.al.,
2019). Education has also supported in developing vaccination for the disease. Government in
United Kingdom formed strategic alliances with many pharmaceutical companies so that on the
time Europe can get proper vaccines for the citizens and people based in the country. Europe is
among the most preferred travel and tourism destination due to all world-class facilities
available at the location. Government and authorities played a very impressive role by
approaching the pandemic in such way that people can come and visits the destination even
during the COVID and post pandemic situation.
Marketing is another key aspect of the government that could support in dealing with the
challenge. In order to raise the awareness for the COVID issue government in Europe
approached all potential marketing channels like social media, digital platforms, internet, search
engines, magazines, book and many such platform that can provide an effective success against

has favoured local authorities and governmental bodies to deal with the issue. Lock down has
also implemented that could control the virus at some level especially it worked for stooping the
chain of virus. Marketing is always work as a primary approach for the government to deal with
any challenge or issue (Villamediana-Pedrosa, Vila-Lopez and Küster-Boluda, 2020).
Preservation has been done with the support of practices like lock down, social distancing,
vaccination and many such approaches. All these practices could preserve people from the virus.
Travellers always look for safety and security before approaching any travel and tourism
destination. Today government is ensuring proper safety to all travellers against the virus.
Conservation is also done with the support of vaccination campaign of the government in
Europe. All these efforts favoured the government to protect the travel and tourism sector at
some level.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that tourism is one of the most important and
growing industry across worldwide but due to covid-19 it has negatively impacted. So, it has
become essential for government to make several rules and regulation that could contribute in
generating revenue within UK economy. So, that people may have more disposable income,
employment in order to live better lifestyles. At last, it can be stated that this has helped in
understanding the way various organizations as well as government work together in pandemic
situation so that best outcome can be gained.
