Critique
As per my view, the content written by Krishna Jyoti Pandit is related to the issues with
the inventory management at different sites of cleaning round the city. The post is quite holistic
as the aim is to clearly analyze the interrelationship among all the parts of a particular system
and finds out the way they affect the system functioning (Lim et al., 2014). The scenario
discusses that the customers are directly affected by the inventories and supplies which are not
balanced as they are not getting enough service in a particular time and as per their needs.
Therefore in the context, it has been clearly describes that it has become important to have a
wider vision on the phenomenon of the system. Both the lagging inventories and supplies are
needed to be addressed for balancing the work by the company. It has also been mentioned that
addressing an issue will not bring any solution. Though the post is quite holistic it could have
been made much more holistic by providing a greater picture and thinking options. It is to be
remembered that proper utilization of cleaner, a regular supervisor inspection and an open
information sharing must be promoted with all the contractors as well as the managers. A rich
picture which is considered to be one of the system thinking tools has been clearly shown for
describing the situation in a well manner (Morandi et al., 2014). New policies are to be reviewed
and followed which are provided by the government and feedbacks are to be addressed.
