INTRODUCTION
Market expansion growth strategy called as market development. Hence, the expansion
strategy is adopted by enterprise at time of achieving the high growth as compare to past
achievements. Expansion strategies taken by those entities who has managers with high degree
of recognition and achievement. Henceforth, market expansion can be defined as growth plan of
action that relates with development of market and selling current products in new market.
The present report is based on expansion of business “To investigate the impact of
business expansion on opportunities of business”. However, report will cover following things as
outline the aim and objective on chosen topic, scope and limitation of proposed research.
Additionally, key literature review will be conducted to determine the impact of business

Reason for choosing topic.
The expansion of business in international markets via joint venture helps in enhancing
the revenue of the company. The main purpose of choosing this topic is to identify the challenges
faced by the company at time of entering into foreign markets. It helps the researcher to enter in
international market to expand their business and earn greater market share.
Additionally, expansion needs to be done with help of survival, higher profits,

Scope and limitations of proposed research
The present report is based on to identify the impact of business expansion on business
opportunity. Henceforth, study will be based on to determine the limitation that impacts the
expansion and performance of business. Thus, main limitation of carrying out this study is to
define the impact of expansion and its impact on working enterprise. Researcher to the study
needs to make effective plan that supports to analyse the time required by each activity within
time-frame.
Literature Review
Business expansion defined as potential that aids to expose product and services to wide
range of audience. Thus, enhancement in customer base helps to improve business productivity
and profitability. Successfully expansion of business activities helps to enhance business
profitability. As per the view of stated that expansion of business activities allows to reach out
new group of customer's. Thus, the one of greatest advantage of growth of business is the facts
that expansion provides diverse range of product and services. In contrary to stated that
expansion within the new markets is the opportunity for undertaking the greater brand
recognition. Branding is defined as making sure about the targeted audience that associates with
specific qualities, characteristics and ideas.
According to the author Vellas, (2016) there are various risk associated with the
expansion in international market via the joint venture with Lakme Beauty. As per their views
Lakme is already a luxuries brand in India so it only helps to attract the high profile and luxuries
customer while the other author Dhir, (2017) argued. According to their study Joint venture help
them to attract potential customer in Indian market by building up the trust among the customer.
Resources and cost consideration for the proposed research
Cost- This is defined as total cost that aids to required to complete the project. Cost
Consideration by the company for the proposed business is that the cost required for
starting the new venture in India. The cost associated with the project to expand the
business via joint venture is $20000.
Time- The impact of globalisation on multi-nation companies can be determined by
framing the entire activities to report. Thus, whole project can be accomplished within
the period of 2 to 3 months.

It has been recommended that, in order to expand business in international market Pret a
manager must comply with all the government regulatory laws and standards for
undertaking smooth functioning.
Also, Company should focus on corporate restructuring like merger and acquisition, joint
venture, etc. for long term sustainable growth of business.
It also recommended that they have to understand the trend of growth of beauty products.
REFLECTION
It was very interesting task to carry out this research project. It helped me in broadening
the knowledge on the impact of business expansion in foreign country. I was able to identify

interesting to gain viewpoints of various authors and wider the scope of the particular study.
