This project investigates the responses of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United Kingdom to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to identify positive immediate responses for SMEs to recover, highlight current business decision-making and challenges, and analyze threats and opportunities within the market external environment. The effectiveness of national schemes and policy interventions in supporting SMEs is also considered. The research employs a literature review-based methodology, utilizing secondary data to provide insights into the impact of COVID-19 on SMEs and their strategies for survival and sustainability, ultimately contributing to a better understanding of SME resilience in times of crisis. This project is available on Desklib, a platform offering a range of study tools and resources for students.
