Introduction
IOT is one of the most popular concept in the modern world. IOT is the system of related
devices of computers, mechanical machines, objects etc that have a unique identifier.
Discussion
This modern age was started in 1937 USA along with colossus which was first electronic
and digital computer and efficiency was limited. A ton of example of that age occurred in
England during second world war (Huh, Cho and Kim, 2017). During this, Alan invented
machine Bombe or universal turning machine. This machine has the potential to extract
information to beat Enigma. In 60' IBM made their presence within the market along with
computer models in which they utilized transistors rather than vacuum tubes and machines. The
size of this devices as immense and large and it was hard to operate. At that time, only the
government agencies as well as large companies has access to this technology. We all should
thank Bill Gates for first Microsoft operating system and for the cooperation to IBM as they have
us the first personal computer in addition to the microchip (Yildirim and Ali-Eldin, 2019). This
microchip made the computers faster as well as significantly smaller. Everyone were able to
place this device in their pocket due to its small size and powerful nature.
Conclusion
The above given presentation has given a brief about IOT as well as its advantages and
disadvantages. The advantage of IOT is that it reduces much of the human effort as IOT devices
interact with each other. Major disadvantage is that it lacks security as they are interconnected
with each other.
