Peer reviewed journal article on IoT: Interacting Socially with the Internet of Things (IoT):
Effects of Source Attribution and Specialization in Human–IoT Interaction.
I. INTRODUCTION TO PROBLEM
People want changes over the daily lifestyle with the help of technologies.
Modernization changes the cities in different style. People experienced several
development and charges in surroundings. Digital transformation is increased day by
day, they change city into smart city using various digital devices, such as
smartphones and wireless sensors. All smart devices are connected with a distributed
system and they manage all daily routine works and make better lifestyle. Internet of
Things (referred as IoT) is used for merging all devices and make effective and
suitable life style.
IoT is working on SmartCity, SmartHome, Medical, and Healthcare. IoT is
applicability of Internet by interlinking of different physical objects (Kim K. J.,
2016). Some hypotheses related to this study are:
H1: Collecting data from multiple devices, rather than from a single server, will make
more importance of IoT devices.
H2: Data transmitted by devices of multiple sources will provide better for evaluation
H3: Data collection from different sources will be better for evaluation, rather than
from a single source of information.
IoT have different applications, such as consumer applications, commercial
applications, Industrial applications, and Infrastructure application. All these
application are useful for making daily life easier and better (Gubbi, Buyya, Marusic,
& Palaniswami, 20113).
IoT have three layers to provide low storage capabilities, and processing capabilities
for increasing reliability and security of the area. The perception layer is based on
connected devices with network architecture for collecting data and transfer
information in suitable format. Some examples of perception layer are Global
positioning System (GPS), wireless sensors, Radio Frequency Identification Devices
(RFID), and cameras. Data flow from the perception layer to application layer from
the network based devices. The network layer is used for transferring data using
different technologies, such as 4G, 3G, and Wi-Fi (Lee & Lee, 2015).

II. RESEARCH PROCEDURES
Managing vast data and information in a system then compile them for managing
different task of real time activities with utilization of different devices. It is used for
traffic jam, weather forecasting, pollution control, save electricity, and reduces
casualties. IoT is used for betterment of personal lifestyle as well as professional
work also. Combination of different technologies with a controlling system make
works easier, such as IoT uses wireless sensor networks, automation, and control
system for managing different works (Skiba, 2013).
IoT gathered data from different types of devices, which are connected by Internet.
They provide useful data to control system from different sources.
(Source: Kim, 2016)
As figure show relation between sources, social presence, and attitude toward IoT.
Three level of information make a complete system for best work at any group using
IoT ( Kim K. J., 2016).
III. DISCUSSION
It is concluded from previous part of this report that, IoT is nothing just managing
information from different sources using many devices with help of Internet to better
evaluation and better use of technology in perspective of human help. IoT enhance
use of Internet at huge level for help of human being in fields, such as Medical and
healthcare.
Finally, it is concluded that IoT will be a future advancement with the help of
Artificial intelligence and machine learning. It will make drastic changes in current
technologies.
