The IoT is also enhancing the market size. The market is expected to triple with the rate its
growing now. He urges farmers to use IoT in farming as there are a number of benefits for
incorporating IoT in farming.

be used by other farmers who could be in the same geographical location. Secondly, IoT will

properties. The moisture level of the soil is measured using the device. The sensor can be use in

Computing is necessary for all farmers. The farmers need to get much information as possible
about their farms. The information will enable the farmers to make the right decisions such as
what nutrients o add to the soil, the type of crops to plant on a certain period, and the amount to
irrigation necessary in a farm. The sensor to be used in the farms will enable automation in
farming which will in turn increase the production. If most farmers will use IoT and Cloud
Computing in farming, then the world is assured of plenty of food hence no famine. IoT and
