Abstract: In this paper, the discussions are carried out on the role played by Internet of Things

I. INTRODUCTION
A. Role of IoT in education
IoT has a significant role to play in education as it is an emerging technology that provides
various benefits with the help of interconnected things. The concept of IoT is being widely used
by schools as well as universities to provide a better teaching and learning environment. IoT is
used for interactive and smart learning so that students are more attracted towards education. IoT
also ensures security in school as well as university campuses so that the students feel safer
during their stay in the campus and concentrate more on learning. IoT also increases efficiency
of student as well as teachers with the help of evaluation frameworks that could be used to
measure their performance.
II. MATERIAL & METHODS
Data Collection: The raw data for this research project has been gathered from 30 peer
reviewed scientific publications from the year 2015 to 2019. The attributes in the table that has
been compared are aim of the project, field, analysis, sensors used, data collection, data storage,
programming language, algorithm, key results and finally conclusion has been drawn for each
article. The parameters have contributed towards analysis and results that has been gathered from
the collected data.
Data Inclusion Criteria: A comparison table was prepared with the attributes field, analysis,
sensors used, data collection, data storage, programming language, algorithm, key results so that
analysis of data could be carried out properly.
