Introduction
Internet of Things (IOT), have been one of the emerging technology that have been
gaining high acceptance in different fields. It have been observed that usage of IOT in
application operation that are related to health care have been increasing due to the several
benefits that are received (Elhoseny et al 2018). This report provides a brief understanding of the
background of the report. Proper discussion of the benefits that are received due to the
implementation of IOT have also been discussed. The risks that might be present in the process
are also stated in the report. This report also states the recommendations that are to be followed
for eliminating the risks.
Background
Fitness4All is a new project that have been undertaken and the funding is received from
both public as well as private sector. This application is mainly focussed on maintaining a data
set that will ensure that the fitness related data that are gathered are always stored in the
application and hence wise the data can be used for performing treatments. These data will be
available for the doctors and nurses. This ensures that the data that are collected will be having a
better impact on the treatment process. Booking and payment process will also be incorporated
in project so that the communication process gets easier. Dr. Burns have been urging to describe
the benefits that this project could gain in case IOT is implemented in the process. Gaining
proper understanding of IOT have been a major focus of Dr. Burns. This understanding will also
ensures that sections that will be benefitted due to the implementation of IOT will be understood
and hence wise the technology will be implemented.

Benefits of using IOT in Fitness4All
There are 6 major benefits that might be received in case IOT is implemented in
Fitness4All. The benefits are namely providing Real Time Location Services, Performing proper
prediction of the arrival of the patients, increase preciseness in budget creation, perform remote
monitoring, hand hygiene compliance and hence wise focus on the research side of health care
(Gope and Hwang 2015).
Real Time location service: In case IOT is used in the Fitness4All project, doctors who
will be involved in the process will be enjoying a higher efficiency in the process. With the help
of IOT, real time tracking of the devices that might be required for performing the treatment
process will get easier. In case the medical devices, tools and apparatus are well equipped with
sensors, proper tracking of the devices can be made and hence wise this will be increasing the
efficiency of the treatment process (Thota et al 2018). The time that is required in tracking those
devices will also decrease. Another major benefit that will be received with the help of real time
service is that emergency treatments can be provided to the patients. In case with the help of
Fitness4All project, the patients properly describe the issue they are facing in case of emergency,
immediate treatment can be provided. This benefits the operational process as well.
Prediction of the arrival of patients will also be performed in a better manner. It can be
stated that the patients can update their whereabouts while setting out and this will be acting
beneficial in the process. Hence wise doctors and their staffs can prepare for the medications that
is to be provided. Another benefit that is received is that proper time fixing can be performed and
hence scheduling of the treatment process can be made (Yeh 2016). This is the main reason that

time, with the help of IOT, proper understanding of the data sets that are required are well stated.
This ensures that preciseness of data that are transacted are maintained. This is one of the major
aspect that is to be considered. Hence robustness of the data system also increases.
Remote monitoring is also another benefit that is received in the process. It can be stated
that patients need to visit hospital in a regular basis for performing their routine check-up.
However with the help of Remote Monitoring this issue can be eliminated. Result of the tests
that are to be made are gathered and analysed via digital platform (Jimenez and Torres 2015).
Hence if there are any alteration in medicines that are to be made, it can be informed via the
digital platform.
Research analysis have been another benefit that might be received in case IOT is

project might act helpful in several departments. Treatment scheduling has been one of the major
benefit that might be received with the help of IOT implementation. Proper data assessment is
another benefit that is received. Hence this technology can be utilised in Fitness4All project.
