Report
AI Summary
This report provides an article review on the integration of IoT with enterprise systems, focusing on three key papers. The first article, "The Real-time Enterprise: IoT-enabled Business Processes," highlights the importance of IoT in modern business processes and the challenges of integrating it with existing systems, emphasizing the use of business process modeling languages. The second paper, "Integration of Distributed Enterprise Applications: A Survey," discusses the need for integrating disparate enterprise applications and the historical development and current research challenges in this area. The final article, "IoT-Based Intelligent Perception and Access of Manufacturing Resource toward Cloud Manufacturing," explores the application of IoT in cloud manufacturing, detailing key technologies for intelligent resource perception and access and presenting a prototype application system. The report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future directions of IoT integration within enterprise systems.

IoT INTEGRATION WITH ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS
Article 1: The Real-time Enterprise: IoT-enabled Business Processes
The paper “The Real-time Enterprise: IoT-enabled Business Processes” by “Stephan
Haller and Carsten Magerkurth”, have been associated with highlighting the fact that the IoT is
one of the hot topics and is one of the important aspect of future internet which has been not only
been implemented in the industries but has also been incorporated in the daily lives. According
to this paper have highlighted the fact that the incorporation of the IoT in the business process
modelling as well as in the related tools is one of the major challenge which needs to be
addressed so as to put forward the potential benefits. This has been done by means of
considering the business process modelling along with using the execution languages such as
BPMN and WS-BPEL as well as the USDL which is a service decision language. The major
challenges related to the current business modelling has also been highlighted in this paper.
Article 2: Integration of Distributed Enterprise Applications: A Survey
The paper “Integration of Distributed Enterprise Applications: A Survey” by “Wu He and
Li Da Xu”, highlights the fact that many of the industrial enterprises are associated with
acquiring of the disparate systems as well as application. Besides this the authors highlighted the
fact that the need of integrating this various type of systems along with the applications is often
very prominent so as to satisfy the requirements and needs of the business. The paper is
associated with describing the Distributed enterprise applications along with its historical
development and the integration in the past as well as the recent researches upon this technology.
The paper helps in understanding the fact that the enterprise application integration is mainly
concerned about the integration as well as the communication of the different applications in a
heterogeneous environment. The paper conducted a study which helps in identifying the fact that

still exists different type of research challenges which are to be addressed or overcome so as to
make the industry systems become more efficient.
Article 3: IoT-Based Intelligent Perception and Access of Manufacturing Resource toward
Cloud Manufacturing
The paper “IoT-Based Intelligent Perception and Access of Manufacturing Resource
toward Cloud Manufacturing” by Fei Tao, Ying Zuo, Li Da Xu, and Lin Zhang”,
highlighted the fact that the cloud manufacturing is a service oriented
manufacturing mode which is associated with gaining a huge amount of attention.
The paper has been associated with describing the IoT technology along its
application in the process of Manufacturing along with highlighting the
manufacturing resources and the manufacturing services in the Cloud
Manufacturing. The paper describes the key technologies which are dedicated
towards having an intelligent perception as well as for having access to the different
kind of resources. Besides this in this paper a prototype application system has also
been developed so as validate eth method that has been proposed. The method is
seen to be having the potential of helping the readers in realizing the intelligent
perception as well as the access of the manufacturing resources and the capabilities
which are dependent upon the IoT technologies. The five-layered framework
provided related to the manufacturing resources intelligent perception along with
the access system dependent IoT has been designed as well as presented which
includes the different application layers.
