SUMMARY OF LITERATURE REVIEW
Summary:
Service planning of internet of things (IOT) include smart cloud manufacturing, accessing
ubiquitous data, FOG architecture, automation of assembly model system, communication of
long range and P2P based IOT services. All these are comprised to make IOT such an attractive
platform for the modern day communication.
Service planning system in IOT is an extremely important aspect of the process requiring
optimum amalgamation of cyber physical logistics system and the internet. For IOT to work
effectively it is important that the equipment of physical assets are in proper condition and
working at their optimum level. Using sensors in these assets will improve the ability of
information system to capture, communicate and process data effectively. In developing
economies investments on IOT will provide significant return as the highest proportion of total
value of IOT is generated from developing economies.
In this day and age where technologies are continuously reshaping the world IOT has effectively
influenced each and every aspect of human lives including development of smart cities,
monitoring diseases in human beings including heart diseases, effective management of waste,
managing power and security in smart homes and others [1].
Group of American scientists have developed the highest weather station at the 8000 feet in the
hills of Mount Everest would be extremely beneficial as important data will be generated from
the weather station will help to save millions of human lives in the future.
Use of IOT in developing an intelligent car parking system is also visible from the use of
Artificial Intelligence in advanced car parking systems in different parts of the world. The

security in the car parking system has improved significantly subsequent to the installation and
implementation of advanced technologies under IOT [2].
