Apple is one of the leading brands in the smart phone industry. The smart phones
launched by the company have few of the most sophisticated features which a phone may
have (Apple United Kingdom 2018). However no product can be perfect and in the same way
the iPhone also comes with a lot of strengths but also a few weaknesses which may lead the
consumers to think twice before choosing it as their smart phone. These strengths and
weaknesses are discussed below.
Strengths
One of the primary strengths of the Apple iPhone is its all new design. Apple had
been lagging behind as there were no major changes in the design of its smart
phones. However the newly launched model of the iPhone comes with a all new
exclusive design which almost have a 82.9% screen to body ration. The phone
comes with a stainless steel frame and has a front and back glass body.
It was argued by the critics that the body and screen of the phone is very
vulnerable as compared to some of its competitors such as the S8 Edge. However
in order to address the situation the new iPhone comes with a IP67 certified water
and dust resistance screen along with a Scratch-resistant glass having a oleophobic
coating.
The display of the new iPhone is also spectacular. It comes with a 5.6 inches super
AMOLED capacitive screen supporting 16m colors. The phone has a 1125 x 2436
pixels resolution having a pixel density of 458 ppi. In addition to this the display
comes with a Dolby vision, 3D touch and True tone display.
One of the most alluring features of the new iPhone is its operating system. The
phone comes with an all new IOS 11.1.1 software. The phone gas Apple A11
Bionic software, Hexa-core 2.39 GHz as CPU and
Apple GPU (three-core graphics) as GPU.

When it comes to the Iphone what is most demanding is its camera. Apple has
promised that the camera of the new iPhone is the best which has been launched
yet in relation to any phone. The phone comes with a Dual 2 MP (f/1.8, 28mm) +
12 MP (f/2.4, 52mm), phase detection autofocus, OIS, 2x Optical Zoom and a
quad-LED dual-tone flash.
Weakness
One of the primary weakness of the all new iPhone is its price. The phone is priced at
a rate which any apple phone has not been subjected to in the market commercially.
People would be able to get their hands of other flagship phones such as the Note 8
and the S8 Edge.
The phone although comes in two variants one having a memory of 64GB and
256GB, it does not have a extra card slot. The ram which has been provided to the
phone is only 3GB which is much less as compared to some of its competitors.
In addition there is no 3.5mm ear phone Jack in the phone. As usual the phone does
not come with a radio. The 3.0 USB port has also not been provided to the phone and
it still continues with USB 2.0 (Mirror.co.uk 2018).
