1). Summary
On the basis of discussion, it has been summarised the concept of ISBAR approach
which is related to the effectiveness of communication and aligned with safety national
standards. Healthcare enterprises, professionals are focused on the adapting the approach of
ISBAR because it provides the better facility to understand the behaviour, culture of change
in terms of clinical handover. By using ISBAR approach, medical professionals are
implementing certain action related to the clinical handover and establish a strong
collaboration with patients. Most importantly, it can be reduced the level of content or
information and then building a strong collaboration (Chien and et.al., 2022). Different kind
of professionals, health service enterprises are using best practices or guidelines that are
always supports to fulfil all essential requirements. On the basis of analysis, it also focused
on estimating or calculating the risks or threats which are related to health service,
particularly identifying the needs of patient’s, families as well as carers (Flemington and
et.al., 2022). The involvement of clinicians are in the handover activities, which means that
inspire or motivate health care professionals so that they were followed a particular safety
related national standards. In order to maintain all necessary aged care and acute healthcare
services.
On the other hand, Clinical handover procedures are followed by professionals and
creating a strong structure, layout. But this kind of approach can be possible through ISBAR
approach and helping to fix a proper schedule for clinical handover, gathering relevant data.
This type of process is developing more awareness among patients so that they can easily
identify their preferences, priorities and goals (Atkins, 2021). By considering ISBAR
approach, professionals will try to organise the programme or session so that every staff
member will be participating into clinical handover process. Therefore, it will be encouraging
the patient’s, families or carers regarding treatment services. In accordance with wishes of the
individuals such as patients and ensuring that generate the best clinical based handover
results. It will be increasing the situation related to the transfer of responsibility and maintain
accountability for healthcare.
Based on the analysis, ISBAR approach is one of the best tool or platform that help to
provide the best structure of communication and also settings clinical handover standards. In
the context of clinical handover, ISBAR plays an important role in terms of safety
communication and anticipated the strong interconnection between various healthcare
personnel (Gillan, Delaney and Johnston, 2022). In some cases, it does not required a

particular research but considering appropriate strategies that ensure receiving best training
session in the safety communication. Discussion has been conducting on the basis of ISBAR
approach that will increase more awareness of user’s, expertise and allows them to get
current situation of patient’s. So, it is important aspect to follow ISBAR in clinical handover
process and then highlighting the importance of training, simulation (Chua and et.al., 2022).
In order to improve the level of patient safety and also increasing the demand of training for
nurses, specialist health care practitioners. The communication structure has been followed
on the basis of ISBAR approach and created a proper standardise in effectively.
