ISLAMIC CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Introduction
Political conflicts are frequent across the world; however, the most controversial and
lengthy running conflict in the world is between Palestinians and Israelis, prominent with name
termed as Israeli-Palestinian conflict. In the core, this conflict is between the national project of
Palestine and the project of Jewish Zionists, which are two movements related to self-
determination. The primary reason behind this conflict is the territory; both projects claim the
same as the area. This fight was commenced in the 20th century, and this conflict has caused
several fights in the Middle East. According to Ben-Meir et al., (2017), the Israeli-Palestinian
conflict has deteriorated the Middle East in many ways, and people have a myth regarding the
conflict that this fight is for religious purposes. Nevertheless, in actual countries are fighting for
the ownership of land. Compromise has been proven arduous thus, according to researches,
Rasulullah technology is the one through which peace can be accounted for(Burgat, 2019).

so that corrective measures can be executed accordingly. Back in history, when there was no

about to begin to convert the dream into reality. In 1914, together with the commencement of
world war I, the establishment journey of Israel was started(Cordell, O'Leary & Wolff, 2018).
Additionally, Palestine and Israel's conflict were sparked in 1917 with the entrance of
Great Britain in the scenario. Great Britain signed the Balfour Declaration on 2 November 1917
to create a separate colony for Jewish in Palestine. Great Britain became part of history because
she itself intended to rule over there. With great strategies, Great Britain initiated ruling Palestine
and said that until Palestine people become capable of ruling themselves, Great Britain will rule
over them. And, to produce potential in Palestinians, she opened separate institutes for Muslims,
Christians, and Jewish. With this, disputes were increased among communities. Then, from 1920
to 1930, Great Britain tried to apply the Balfour Declaration, and according to Declaration, the
Jewish community was fulfilling the land of Palestine. Thereby, in 1936, other communities of
Palestine took a step towards this movement(Goldenberg et al., 2018). However, with the help of
Jewish people, Great Burden hushed up the scandal by promising that after ten years, she will
give freedom to Palestine. Because of World War II, this matter was handed over to the United
Nations. And in November 1947, the United Nations equally distributed Palestine in two
countries, i.e., Palestine and Israel(Hagopian, 2017).
Although the way the map was generated, conflict was crystal clear. Besides, Palestine
denied the acceptance of distribution, but Jewish accepted the map and, with thorough planning,
announced itself as an independent country on 14 May 1948(Hameiri et al., 2017). It was the
actual time when the Israeli-Palestinian conflict emerged. Because, on the second day of
independence, on 15 May 1948, the entire Arab world began the Arab-Israeli War. Israel won the
war, and more than 7 lakh Palestinians become refugees on their land. As at the end of the war,
75% of Palestine was occupied by Israel(Harms & Ferry, 2017). Besides, the remaining territory

of Palestine has divided into two parts, and one part was under the control of Jordan, and the
other part was under Egypt. The establishment of Israel was a nightmare for the Arab world. The
war which was conducted for preventing the entrance of Jewish in Palestine has turned into the
Palestine independence war. Then, in 1967, the war was started between Arab countries and
Israel, famous with the Six-Day War. By winning this war, the whole of Palestine was held by
Israel.
Moreover, a significant portion of land was lost by Egypt and Syria as well. Hence, in
1973, Arab countries again assaulted Israel, known as Yom Kippur War or Ramadan War and
October War. Again, Arab countries were defeated by Israel. For freedom, Palestinians
boycotted the materials and services of Israel and refused to pay tax to the Israelian government.
Israel replied to these offenses through Army, and in this action, together with military officers,
local people lost their lives. To tackle this issue, OSLO Peace accords were signed between
Israel and Palestine; however, this was failed, and conflict becomes worse and worse because
countries were not agreed on the rights of water and other disputes as well(Kelman, 2018).
Are all solutions failed?
To solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, many peace treaties were signed, and somewhere
went successful—for example, Jordan-Israel Peace and Syria-Israel peace. Nevertheless, the
conflict between Israel and Palestine is quite deep due to their geographical and other respective
conditions. Nonetheless, religious faiths of both nations and technology might bring
peace(Magal, Bar-Tal & Halperin, 2018).

ISLAMIC CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Techniques applied by Rasulullah for making peace
Certainly, Israeli-Palestinian conflict is because of the homeland; however, both nations
have religious aspects that are required to be addressed using effective and efficient peacemaking
strategy and following footprints of Rasulullah. The peace will become consistent with combined
efforts.
During the reconstruction of Kaabah
When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was at the age of 35 years, the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
reconstructed the Kaabah because of the deteriorating flood. Additionally, at that time, there was
a lack of security systems. To resolve these problems, the holy prophet (PBUH) placed the black
stone at the center of Kaabah with the robe. The placement of stone in Kaabah created conflict
between people. In tackling this conflict, two points were assessed. First, the selection of
traditional procedures rather than follow up of contemporary ones. The second one, maybe the
more significant matter of this occasion, was the choice of the judge. The strategy of sharing
people's views among opponent gatherings (Lamin et al., 2018).
During the opening of Mecca's City
During this period, the Quraysh of Mecca ceaselessly performed damaging activities to
deteriorate the peace for Prophet (PBUH) and the Muslims. Several battles in this conflict
occurred. The war was proclaimed by the Quraysh; it turned out to be certain that the Quraysh
world-class had designed the struggle into war. While for the Prophet (PBUH) and Muslims,
there is no other path than to manage it. Then again, compromise can be considered as any
procedure that resolves or finishes conflicts. Thus, this war for the Prophet (PBUH) can be
utilized as a compromise (Christian, 2017).

During Hudaibiyah Agreement between Muslims and Ansar
When the holy prophet (PBUH) hijras from Makkah to Madina. The holy prophet PBUH
said that there is no prevalence for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab.
Nor is the white better over the dark, nor is the dark better over the white - aside from by
devotion." Holy Prophet (PBUH) said the peaceful message and treated the muhajir and Ansar
group. The relation of everyone is like brothers and gave comparable status in social position,
rights, and duties just as in the strict opportunity to all occupants of Medina (Affan & Thohir,
2019) .
The relevance of Technology in making peace
Moreover, putting light on technology, it has been observed that technology is reducing
the differences between nations. There is one volunteer-led and student program that brings the
youths of both nations together for learning technical skills such as app development, website
design and development, graphic design, and 3D and for engaging in the dialogue of conflict
resolution. It has been proven that technology connects the world, and it is not restricted to
gender, race, color, and so on. Still, peacemaking and peacebuilding between nations will require
time, money, patience, creativity, and meditation.
Conclusion
To recapitulate, Israeli-Palestinian geopolitical conflict is the most famous conflict in the
world. Throughout the centuries, nations are fighting for land. Israel had enjoyed success against
several Asian countries, and as a result of wars, Israel occupied entire control over Palestine. Till
now, Palestine is fighting for their land, and agreement cannot be reached to decision because of
many existing and emerging issues. After many attempts, now Rasulullah's footprints and
