the productivity. In this context, it has been seen that the organizations are using different
business solution software and products in order to achieve the quality and productivity.
Along with that the adaptation of the cloud storage has brought a huge transformation in the
information storage system in the organization. The paper will discuss the effect or impact of
the digital technology in the business solutions and business growth and its relevance in the
competitive market.
Discussion
It has been seen that the digitization of the functionalities in office will bring more
business opportunities along with the customer engagement. The efficient flow of data will
help to increase the productivity of the organization. However, it is important for the
organizations to make the digitization relevant for the consumers. In this context, the example
of the Panasonic Toughbook can be mentioned. Wilson security has replaced the traditional
reporting system through paper with Panasonic Toughbook (Karena, 2019). It helps the
security officers to fill the online form regarding the site activities and those forms can be
sent to the central sever so that the management of the organization can access those forms.
Along with that this system also increases the availability of the data.
For storing of the data the many organizations are using the cloud storage. It can be
said that the using the cloud computing the maintenance cost for physical device can be
mitigated. This has reduced the margin cost for most of the companies will be reduced
significantly.
Maintaining online presence
Major French Department store Galeries Lafayette uses a software named Hybris for
maintaining the online presence. This software is a multi-channel software with a strategy to

connect through the mobile devices and desktops. This makes the presence of Galeries

getting the international recognition through the use of the digital technology.
However, for the implementation of the digitization in the organization needs the
specific technical requirements (Karena, 2019). As for example, for implementation of the
mobile access of the webpage, the webpage is needed to be redesigned so that it can
compatible for the mobile app. Apart from that in case of e-commerce system, payment has
be made through online server. In this case, it is needed to be confirmed by the organization
that the payment gateway is secured enough for maintaining the confidentiality of the users’
information.
Online engagement
The online engagement can be achieved through the social media platform. This
technique can be used by the organization for the online marketing. Many of the small
business organizations are using the digital marketing for making their presence can be felt to
the consumers (Waters, 2019). In some cases, it has been seen that many business
organizations are collecting feedback from the consumers regarding their products and
services via Twitter or Facebook. The conversation with the consumers can help the
organization in the potential growth of business.
Doing business through online

and vegetables to the consumers through online e-commerce. It can be said that the
digitization is helping the YouFoodz to grow its business rapidly that may not be possible
through the offline business.
Inclusion of the cloud computing: According to some of the biggest organization, the
implementation of the cloud computing may not be a big change as they are using this
technology for long time (Marques, 2019, pp. 429-441). However, for small business
companies the use of cloud storage is playing an important role for the positive digital
disruption.
Using technology in managing the business and HR operations
For some organizations, they are adopting software solutions for managing the
business operations and HR functionalities. There are various software that can handle the
employee information along with other important human resource data effectively.
