Reflection
From the learning of system analysis and design, I have assessed that it is a concept
learning new approaches and several of techniques, which is utilized for system building in
more efficient and effective way. I have assessed that primary objective of the system
analysis and design is improving the current system of the organization. Through the system
analysis and design, I gain basic understanding of the system design, system characteristics
and system development. It has been assessed by me that the main objective of the system
analysis and design defining a system, explaining components of the system design,
enumerating components of the system design and explanation of different phases of the
system development life cycle. In these aspects, the concept of system analysis and design
has been demonstrated for the case study of waiters on call meal delivery system.
The system analysis and the design is mainly divided into two factors, which are the
system analysis and system design. The system design is considered as the planning of the
new business system or replacing an existing system. I have assessed that before the
implementation process, the old system need to be understand properly. In this case of
waiters on call meal-delivery system there was no old system was present thus here system of
the case study has been prepared from the scratch. The concept of system analysis is
considered as the gathering process and interpreting facts, problem diagnosis and utilization
of the information for improvements within the system. Analysis of the system need to be
done for the waiters on call meal-delivery system for improvements in the identified system.
Customers will be able to call the waiter for placing the orders. The system integrated within
the device will help in placing the order without much buffer. Moreover, it is being kept in
consideration that the driver is able to update the delivery once the delivery is made. The

system will store data regarding each orders made so that tracking can be done easily. The
system will be able to address all the needs effectively without errors.
For the case study of waiters on call meal-delivery system, it has been assessed that
design of the software is very much important for the waiters on call meal-delivery system.
This will help in addressing the needs of the customer and will help in managing the activities
within the system. The system will help in calling the delivery boy for making delivery
towards the customer. In this aspect, the object-oriented design is very much important for
designing the software in this case. As per me the object, oriented design can be considered
as the planning process of a system of the interacting objects for solving some problem
regarding the implemented software. In this case the object is consisting encapsulated data
and some procedures which representing the entity. The object interface defines that how
interaction can be done with a particular type of object. I have learned that in this context the
program of object oriented can be described by the object interaction. Through this object
oriented design objects can be defined and interaction is defined which is utilized for problem
solving which is identified and recorded while the object oriented analysis is done.
Database security is referred mainly to the collective measures that are used for the
purpose of protecting and securing the database. The data stored within the database can be
protected with the help of database security. Thus, after analysing the concepts associated
with data security and privacy I can state that the authorization maintained within the system
analysis will get improved. This will help in storing the data effectively within the system.
This also provides a better physical security towards the database. The major reason behind
implementing proper security implications on data is to maintain a proper control. This will
ensure that the data stored within the system are safe from possible threats. After analysing
the case study it can be stated that with the help of effective data security plan it will become
easy to manage the stored data. This will also help in managing the crucial data. System tends

to store crucial data that are needed to be maintained with security. Hence, it can be stated
that there is a huge need to have proper control over the data stored within the system. This
will help to maintain proper confidentiality throughout the customer’s data. Moreover, this
will also offer a better management strategy for huge number of data.
I have assessed that system implementation and the system acquisition both are
important constrains of the system development. The system implementation utilised the
structure that is created while the architectural design and the system analysis results is used
for system element construction which will be capable of satisfying the requirements of the
stakeholders and the requirements which are developed at the early phase of life cycle. In this
aspect, the system implementation is important for the waiters on call meal-delivery system
as it helps to implement the system by satisfying the requirements of the user, who are the
main stakeholder in this aspect. The system acquisition is mainly focusing on the purchasing
development of a system, which operates within an environment that is having less
interaction with some other systems. This system is concentrated on the factor of
development monitoring and product review to ensure the functionality of the application.
Thus as per me this is system acquisition is important to ensure that the waiters on call meal-
delivery system is having minimum dependency and all of the functionality of the system is
working well.
The concept of project management is also important for the system analysis and
design. In this context the project management the process of planning, initiating, executing
controlling and closing of a work for achieving some specific goals. As per me the project
management is import for waiters on call meal-delivery system as this is help to accomplish
all the project in a sequence very efficiently.
