With the help of Database management systems it is easy to do all the work. For e.g. Storing the
data and structuring the files along with linking the records which is not possible with
spreadsheets. Another example can be the government is able to track a person with the zip code
stored in the database management system (Oz, 2009).
The meaning of the word “cleanse data” before it is inserted in a data warehouse is to modify the
data in such a way that it is easy to insert it into the warehouse (Lans, 2012).
A data warehouse is basically accumulation of all the information and the data which is obtained
from the external sources and the systems. Data warehouse helps in data consolidation and
provides a brief analysis of the data at different levels of business (Jarke, 2013).
Data warehouse is very much different from transactional database. Transactional database are
constrained to single application while data warehouse is constrained from multiple applications.
Transactional database works on OLTP databases while data warehouse works on OLAP
databases (Cardon, 2015).
Blogging is maintaining a diary of information which different websites contains. For businesses
blogging has many benefits like it helps in reaching new customers, developing brand, gathering
reviews and feedbacks. It also helps in responding and managing the complaints of the customers
(Govenment, 2013).
Intranet is a type of network which is used by the employees of a particular organization. Its
main purpose is to allow accessibility of company’s information among the employees
(Eisenhauer, 2014).
Extranet is also a type of network but it restricts the site access to the employees who are a part
of a particular organization. This helps in ease of communication between the business partners
and their organization (Eisenhauer, 2014).
