The work of the security analyst is to ensure proper security of the systems and networks
running within an organization. In this area or work as a security analyst, it is very essential to
understand and identify the different security requirements of an organization. The project
should follow the organizational standards. It is essential to understand the different
requirements and need of the organization to propose an effective solution of the problem.

While working on a project, I expect that my project team will work according to the
plan. The success of any project largely depends on the implementation process and contribution
of the project team members towards the project. It is expected that the project will be delivered
within a scheduled time and will be completed within the allocated budget of the project. The
project is to be implemented in such a way that the persisting problems of the organization gets
resolved after the completion of the project. It is expected that the project will have a proper
communication plan that that will be used to communicate the project progress or important
information among the project stakeholders. This is an important part of stakeholder
management as well. I expect that the project scope will remain unchanged or will experience a
little change throughout the project. Being a security analyst of the company, I will make sure
that the project ensures that all the security requirements of the company are met through the
project and I expect that my team members will work accordingly in order to the meet make the
project a success (Chen et al., 2013). I expect a complete support of my team members while
working on a project, as effective teamwork ensures the project success.

Following a proper strategy and project management plan ensures project success. While
working on a project, I ensure that all the project requirements are aligned with the resource
available for a project. This is essential in proper estimation of the resource required for a
project. Improper estimation might be a cause of project failure and therefore one of the basic
requirements of the project is to ensure resource availability in the project implementation phase
(Kerzner, 2013). Furthermore, it is essential to have a concrete milestone of the project in order
to ensure project success.

In order to work effectively and efficiently in a project it is very essential to have a
proper communication plan in the project (Szeberenyi, 2015). This will ensure proper
information flow throughout the project execution. One of the major requirements of a successful
project is to have a proper stakeholder management plan as well. A team leader plays an
effective role in managing a team. Collaboration with the team members to solve problems is a
necessity while working in a team environment. It contributes to the development of an efficient
work environment that keeps the project team members motivated. Another important
requirement for working effectively in team environment is effective time management for
prioritizing, scheduling and executing the project work (Larson & Gray, 2013).
