Abstract
The research will focus ion the study of the issues relevant with the use of information
technology in the food industry. The use of technologies like robots, drones, GMOs increases
the overall productivity. However, it also causes certain damages in the sector where it is
used and lots of issues arises which need proper maintenance so that it does not impact the
productivity. As Australia is one of the biggest competitor in the global market its product
need to be well looked after and the issues need to be resolved. The related issues are related
to the privacy, crop destruction, destruction of the store crop, problem related to tracking,
malfunctioning of the robots. The research is related with such kind of issues and will find
effective methods to prevent the problem.

technology is increasing the productivity. There is technology like GMOs, 3-D foot printing,
data analytics and precision agriculture which improves the work process of the food
industry. The main aim is to study the issues and the negative impact of information
technology in the food industry. This research report deals with the issues related with the use
of information technology in the food industry of Australia. It is seen that Australia is
enjoying the quality of food delivered and the sale related to it (Papargyropoulou et al.,
2014). However, it is high time that it looks after the issues related with the use of technology
used in the food industry. In order to study about this issues certain key area, need to be
explored: -

Tortia (2014), studied the benefits and impact of information technology in the food industry
of Australia. It was studied that the use of IT helps in improving the industries and enhances
the production and save the industry from the involvement of any middleman. The modern
technologies are using different methods for the preservation and making of certain foods.

(Reinecke & Prinsloo, 2017). The experience is gathered and analysed which are based on
true facts.

various types of research design are present which helps in understanding the study
and issues in a more descriptive way. The design helps in understanding the concept related
to the issues in the initial stage and helps in determining a relationship between the variables
which are considered (Lipper et al., 2014). The analytical design helps in gathering the idea
of the theories which are already present and deal with the problems in the food industry. The
proposed design gives the knowledge about the issues that can arise in the near future.
