In the IT governance, the framework is support and to help in corporate strategies
implementation and also its objectives. The framework in IT governance in a company helps in
controlling the responsibility, authority and also the accountability which are used by the
company thus making the IT infrastructure stronger. In the higher levels of IT governance helps
also in managing corporate sector on the areas on which the company is managed and also
directed (Low, 2015, p.380).
The internship host company has a complete set of the IT governance framework making
its learning mandatory to be completed by the employees. IT governance framework has various
section which include;
IT governance -compliance in interest conflict
IT governance- Compliance in anti-corruption and,
IT governance which involves compliance of the business standard conduct.
IT governance framework has three standards in the basis CBRE. These basis include
I. Control Objectives for information and related technology (COBIT): this is the
framework which is oriented on audit in setting the IT process guidelines, controls and
also the practices (Teece, 2016, p. 30). This framework helps in precise integrity, risk
reduction and in security. It also covers domains which are five in number and they
consist four management and one governance.
II. Information technology and the infrastructure library (ITIL): this is a framework which
focuses identification of the best practices in managing the levels of IT services. This

concept entails application management, business perspective, service support, security
management and plan implementation on service management.
III. Capacity maturity model integrated (CMMI): It helps in governance decision
establishment, explanation of the weakness and the strengths of the business with the
organization processes.
