would be an important ethical issue for Nationwide bank where the employees can track the
buying habits as well as gather personal data about wide range of customers and clients. Besides

this, the confidential information about the company would also be compromised as the hackers
can easily access their data by introducing malware in their computers like Trojans.
As illustrated by Galer and et.al(2016), Besides all these, communication would be a
remarkable ethical issue for Nationwide bank where the company might face difficulty in
monitoring the telephonic conversation because of the analogue signals and there may be leakage
of important information. Government as well as hackers can easily track the vital and text based
emails. They can scan the millions of texts of the messages which are of the concern of

click on the pop up, criminals get the access to all their information. This can affect Nationwide

this can compromise the valuable data of their customers.
As illustrated by Saunders and Brynjolfsson(2016), IT somewhere is involved in in the
misinterpretation of genuine news which forms one more social issue & affects the minds of
consumers. When the information is published, various tools like twitter bots tend to distort the
information and leads to spread of propaganda due to which the customers do not get the
information which they were looking for. This has a negative impact on the minds of customers
where they begin to create a negative image for the company and eventually lead to hampering
of the organization's image. Nationwide bank may face this issue where the manipulation of
various offers released by them might loose their customer base due to bad use of technology.

computers as well as network devices in
particular location which are connected with
each other by routers.
WLAN is a wireless local area network

connection with the outside environment and
users can access it through various types of
Ethernet cables like CAT5.

Stages in system development life cycle
As illustrated by Mao and et.al(2016), In order to develop the new system or new
software, Nationwide Bank can use system development life cycle which is predominantly the
framework which contain steps and procedure for developing a new system in the organization.
Its first stage include system planning which is highly critical stage in this life cycle wherein the
enterprise actually decides the problems on which they need to focus and solve by developing a
powerful system. In this, organization first define the issues then propose various alternative
solutions for it and then examine the ways to make their product superior than competitors.
Based on this, either they decide to build a new system or bring changes in the existing ones.
As illustrated by Roztocki and Weistroffer(2015), In this next stage that is system
analysis, the user's requirements and needs are well determined along with their expectation with
the system. In short, a feasibility study is carried out to determine that whether the new system
will be organizationally and economically feasible or not. A strong communication network is
maintained with clients to ensure the clear vision about finished product and the resources that
will go to operate it effectively.
Once the analysis of the requirements of end-users are done, then the next stage involves
design of new system. In this phase, system elements, its components, architecture, modules are
defined which will go in producing it effectively. Generally the design department of
organization produces a blueprint of the system which includes process diagrams, screen layouts
that describes the exact view of system and gives a detailed as well as their expanded view.
Besides this, it also provides the broader view of technical along with functional requirements
through the diagrams.
As per the views of Pérez-Aróstegui, Bustinza-Sánchez and Barrales-Molina(2015), After
the design stage, next stage comprises of the complete understanding about system requirements
together with its specification and constitute implementation as well as deployment stage. It

customers where its live demonstration is provided and sometimes training is given to end users

depends on system complexity.
Under the stage of integration and system testing, different components as well as
subsystems are brought together to build an integrated system and then the system is introduced
into various input to analyse the output and their functions. System testing is done by the
specialized personnel's team and becomes an important phase for ensuring the full customer
satisfaction. It needs no skills in coding and configuration of hardware. It is performed
systematically to make sure that the actual outcomes matches the desired outcomes.
Once the system is being installed in premises, the next step constitutes its periodic
maintenance to ensure the reliability of system. Its periodic maintenance becomes important to
