1.Introduction
Main scope of this project is to creates and implement the organization networks. The
CSU organization is IT based organization. It uses the information technology to provide the
effective marketing and customer satisfaction through the best services compared to other
organization. The CSU organization implement the business operations by using the Information
technology. It has website to improve the organization customer satisfaction and marketing. The
organization domain name is www.csu.org.au. It has email services for each and every staff
member. It has one or more campus at various locations. This organization uses the wireless
network connection within the organization campus. The CSU organization has more than 2000
personal computers at each campus. It also has the file share and backup servers for shares the
file between the staff and regularly backup the staff important documents. In this project, the It
department wants to analyze the current network design and implement the network design by
using the cisco packet tracer network simulator. The proposed network design is used to hosting
some network services by using cloud and virtualization. The Proposed network design should in
three layers hierarchal model.
2.IT Infrastructure Components
The IT infrastructure components is defined in ITIL v3. It is set of hardware, networks,
facilities, software and more. It is used to develop, monitor, control, deliver and test the IT
services. The IT infrastructure components are listed in below (Tanenbaum and Wetherall,
2014).

Here, we are using the cisco switches, routers, servers and dell personal computers.
Cisco SG300-28 28-Port Gigabit Managed Switch
This switch is used to provide the high availability and performance. It supports the vital
business applications while reducing the down time on the network. It has the control network
traffic that associated with special features like IPv6 support, layer 3 static routing and quality of
services. It also has the mass deployment capabilities. It optimizes the power usages for energy
efficiency.
Cisco 1000 Series Integrated Services Routers
The integrated services routers are used to provide the reliability, security and high
performance. It easily gets the internet access and gives the advanced security. This router is
easily fixing the high performance that are easily deploy and manage the network connection. It
also provides the highly secure metro ethernet, wireless LAN connectivity and broadband. It
offers the next generation connection, integrated security and software defined WAN. It has the
increased mobility to provides the next generation LAN and WAN options. This router is ideal
for use as customer premised equipment. It enables the high availability for network services
(Scaling networks, 2014).

Basically, Cisco servers are providing the high performance. It delivers the unified
computing to reduce the TCO and increases the network agility. It basically identifies the
varying the network work load challenges through balance of internal storage resources, memory
and I/O. It has the memory intensive, two rack unit rack and socket server to provide the high
availability and reliability of the network. It extends the Cisco united computing system
capabilities by using the multi core processors and it embedded quad port Gigabit ethernet
control. It has the IP based recording unit that is used to record the video conference.
3.Three-layers hierarchal model
The cisco three layered hierarchical model is used to simplifies the task of building a
scalable, reliable and less expensive hierarchical network of an organization because it focusses
on packet construction. It also focusses on three functional areas such as core layer, distribution
layer and access layer (SearchNetworking, 2018). The Core layer is considered as network
backbone and it has high speed cables and high-end switches. Here, no packet manipulation is
done by devices in this layer. It ensures the reliable delivery of packets. The distribution layer is
including the LAN based router and 3-layer switches and it ensures the packers are properly
routed in an organization. The access layer is focuses on connecting the client to the network.
This layer is used to ensures that packets are delivers to the end user computers (Comer, 2015).

The Current IT infrastructure does not provide the reliable and scalable network for an
organization because it does not use high performance network components and it does not use
the reliable backup and file server. It does not host the someone network devices and it does not
use the virtualization cloud to secure the organization information. So, the IT department decided
to creates the secure and scalable network for an organization. The Current IT infrastructure
requires the high-performance network devices, virtualization and cloud services to implement
the organization processes. Geographical diagram of the network is shown below (Cisco.com,
2018).
The proposed network services have the possibility of scaling the network. The proposed
organization network is used to provide the high scalability of the network. It provides the high
performance and high-speed network access compared to current IT infrastructure. It has more
possibility of scaling the organization network because it uses the high performance and
availability of the IT infrastructure components. It provides the high security.

4.Cloud based design proposal
The cloud is one of the best investments for a small and medium size business can make
because it is perfect file sharing tool especially for multimedia and document files are too large
to send by mail. It provides the reliable data backup solution, easy way to share files with
colleagues and client and instant access to files. It provides the best cloud storage services for an
organization. Identified two cloud services for an organization is shown below.
1. IDrive - IDrive is used to offers the storage plan for individual and business. IT boasts the
extensive file sharing and syncing the capabilities. It has the ability to share the file and
folders through email, mobile access, remote management tools and more. It also backup
the multiple devices and multiple files in real time.
2. Acronis - The Acronis is used to offers the data protection, syncing, sharing and secure
file access solitons as well as system management tool for any organization. It protects
the everything in one simple step. It works with both public and private hosts of user
network.
The proposed IT infrastructure provides the DHCP, DNS and web services for an
organization. It also performs the Backup and file sharing between staffs.
Dynamic applications scaling using virtualization and Cloud to provide the effective
organization and it involves to,
1. Maintaining the sufficient resources
2. Meet peak requirement can be costly.
3. Provide powerful computing model that allows users to access the resources on-demand.
