Introduction
The rapid growth of technology and its implementations in our daily lives had made
our lives quite easier and faster than before. With the advancements in the process, a huge
change will be reflected in the near future of ten years where people will be accessible
anywhere in the world with their smart devices in their hand1. The IT organizations are
continuously upgrading themselves such that they can provide advanced services to their
customers worldwide. Hence, being an employee of the IT organization, I also need to
upgrade my skills such that I can accustom myself with the changes, attend the risks
associated and take decisions to deal with them effectively.
Issues Related to IT & IS
Biometrics is a major advanced application of security system in any company. There
exists two types of identifiers in biometric systems that are the physiological identifiers and
the behavioural identifiers. The physiological identifiers like the fingerprints, retina scan are
common nowadays. However, the organizations may update their biometric systems to
behavioural identifiers that will recognize the walking patterns and gestures of the people2.
Behavioural identifiers are much more authentic because they do not involve human
involvement every time like fingerprint checking or retina scanning. However, these systems
when newly developed will be highly prone to hacking. The hackers will get ample chances
to breach in the security and can easily get the employee details from the company.
3D printing or additive printing is another sector that is emerging up as a new
technology to enhance the business processes in a system. The objects are given shape in the
form of 3D by printing in layer by layer. The layers are identified as a thin slice of the cross-

change will be reflected in the near future of ten years where people will be accessible
anywhere in the world with their smart devices in their hand1. The IT organizations are
continuously upgrading themselves such that they can provide advanced services to their
customers worldwide. Hence, being an employee of the IT organization, I also need to
upgrade my skills such that I can accustom myself with the changes, attend the risks
associated and take decisions to deal with them effectively.

explain the outcome in advance to his employees and explain clearly the vision of the project.
However, there might exist issues in printing a 3D object too. If a disruption occurs in the
layers of the printed object, the final print will not be at its best quality. This will create a
problem in understanding what the object is about and what needs to be done with it. There
could also be issues in handling the printers and forming the objects digitally for this printing.
The financial service farms such as the banking or the insurance sectors are
developing highly nowadays with the emergence of the Artificial Intelligence in this era.
Hence, ten years from now on, they will incorporate smart systems that will reduce work
pressure of the organization at large3. The banking sectors nowadays already incorporated
chatbots and robots that prove to be of great help while providing services to the customers
from the banks. After the advancement in technologies, these chatbots will not only be able to
reply to the customers but also trace their transactions and update them with the recent status
of the accounts4. However, issues might occur if there exists some technical problems in such
robots and the customers are not provided with the optimum services possible. Even if the
security is enhanced, the hackers also might be advanced enough to hack such systems and
the privacy of the customers will be at stake due to this automated processes.
Another aspect that will have a great impact on digital economy is the services
provided by the digital giants like the Amazon, Google, Microsoft and many more. These
mammoth sized companies are providing cloud based management solutions to the small or
medium sized organizations at a reasonable cost. Hence, the developing organizations does
not have to manage their in-house databases and are reducing work force for this purpose.
This will prove to be advantageous for the organization that they do not have to spend much

secure. A certain amount of cost will be spend for upgrading the cloud services and the
software associated with it5. This will be a recurring cost for the companies down the line in
the upcoming years. In addition, there will be issues with the security systems provided by
the larger organizations.

The companies will incorporate many new advancements in the upcoming future.
According to the changes in the technological field, there needs to be variations in the
decisions made in various aspects of the organization. The decisions will vary in strategic,
tactical and operational aspects of the company. In terms of strategic changes, the companies
should make plans in incorporating the new systems in a company6. The new biometric
systems if placed within the organization should be decided in advance, the locations where
this system should be placed. These biometric systems will function automatically, hence,
will reduce human labour at large. Strategic planning should also be implemented in terms of
3D printing too. Since, printing 3D images are very costly, planning should be done
beforehand by the companies about the number of 3D prints required for a project.
The tactical decisions at adverse situations helps to overcome the situation very
easily. Hence, implementation of tactical decisions help in managing situations when things
are not working properly. When the resources are high, one should have the skill to manage
the costs by reducing the amount of resources required for the company7. For instance, the
