1.1 Justification of the selection
A charity sector is mainly selected for this assignment as my hobby is to be linked with
various charity organizations. It is identified that charities are generally considered as an integral
part of the community irrespective of its size. They generally helps in making our community a
very much better place to live by providing proper goods as well as services to the people who
are not getting access of those resources. Thus, I am always interested in becoming a part of the
organization.
1.2 Explanation of the selected organization
In the charity sector, “SOS children’s villages Mauritius” is mainly selected which is one
of the leading childcare non-government organization that helps in providing long term care to
the children who generally requires help (SOScvmauritius.org). It is identified that the
organization is generally selected as is main goal is to equip as well as prepare children for an
independent future.
1.3 Description of the selected organization
It is identified that SOS children’s Villages Mauritius is one of the non-government
organization that mainly engages in preparing as well as equipping the children for providing
long-term care to the children who lost either their parental care or get abandon
(SOScvmauritius.org). The organization mainly assists in providing some of the services that
include residential care, family strengthening, vocational education and training.

to this, it is identified that it provides the facility of voice menus and queued calls, Supervisor
desktop services, real time reporting and many more. Furthermore, the software faces difficulty
in managing number of support function at a time.

ERP is considered as software that helps in providing proper operational benefits to the
organization. It is identified that the software assists in saving money, helps in improving
collaboration, productivity and more (Tarhini, Ammar and Tarhini 2015). In addition to this, it is
analyzed that improper customization does not helps in integrating the ERP system properly.

that this software is very much cost-effective, flexible as well as fast. Moreover, it faces issues
with batch processing as well as in real time data processing.
