Please describe a situation (or type or project) where one of these items would be more
important than the others, why would the item selected be more important?
The situation that is considered in this case is development of an IT project. As per the
development of the IT project the main factor that is required for proper completion of the
project is Quality. In this case compromising in quality can never be accepted as security related
issues will be affecting the good will of the project (Schwalbe 2015).
Project success is completely dependent on the infrastructure of the IT project. This is the
main reason that quality is more important than the Budget, scope and scheduling of the project.
What impact would focus on that one have on the others?
The focus on quality will be helpful in completing the project. The main reason that the
project will be completed with higher integrity in case the quality of the project is to be
maintained, proper focus on the schedule and scope is to be maintained. In case the schedule of
the project is performed with lower expertise and the scope varies from the desired scope, quality
of the project is to degrade.
Could a project be successful if it delivered on the most important constraint but missed the
others?
No, it is not possible for a project to be successful in case only the main constraint of the
project succeed and all other constraints are not met with high accuracy. Success of the project is
highly dependent on proper execution of all the constraints (Kerzner 2017).
Would it matter how much it missed on the others?
